By far the best peep pattern I’ve seen, they look the most accurate to an actual peep!! Love it so much thank you! 🙏🏻 ❤
Thank you!!! I really appreciate you saying that. I tried to make one last year and scrapped it cause I couldn’t get the right shape. So it’s nice to hear that you think it is so accurate. 🥰🥰🥰

Your soooo welcome! They will love them! ❤️😊❤️
This is by far the cutest peep patterns I’ve seen! Thank you for sharing this with us!! 🎉❤
Thank you so much!!!! I failed at the shape last year, so I’m glad I waited till I was happy with it. It did turn out better than I’d imagined when I decided to give it another try. ❤️😊❤️

Peeps are popular right now! Thank you for this tutorial just in time. They are going to Comic Con! Excited 😊
You are so welcome! 🥰 glad you like them 😊
Wondering what I should charge for them? I used posh yarn.
@@robynwhitney5295 is posh yarn thicker than a #4? I’m guessing it’s more expensive than what I use (Bernat ) I weigh my yarn. Figure out the cost per ounce, then weigh my finnished project in ounces to see how much it cost to make. Then I times that number by 3. If it seems too low or to high I’ll adjust it a bit.
My yarn costs on average $1 an ounce, I would charge $5 for the little ones, around $10 for the bigger ones.
@@rhondadawnbutler Yes Posh is thicker. However this new yarn ran out quick and rumor has it that it's coming back in spring. I hope so it's my fav now. Regular price was $9.99 but I always do the sales so paid $6. I get quite a few projects out of it. I've been crocheting for 45 years and probably undercut my pricing as I struggle with it. Learning a lot on the UA-cam channels tho.
@@robynwhitney5295 my thick yarn is about $12.99 for 10 ounces. I always am cheaper too and definitely undercut myself as well. But I’m happy making a little profit and keeping things affordable.
Thank you so much for this tip tutorial/pattern. So cute! 💗
You are so welcome! Glad you enjoyed it! 🥰
So adorable! Can’t wait to start! I ordered some eyes.
Thank you!
You’re welcome! Hope you enjoy making them once your eyes are in. (If they will be a while, once I have most of the head done, I stuff the ears, and go right to the last couple of rows before I add eyes. Then you can do a few before your eyes come and add them later 👍😉)
So cute for Easter!!! I started making a yellow one. Great tutorial !!

Thank you for this tutorial
You're welcome 🥰
I have thank you your video makes it so easy for me to follow
Yay! I’m glad they are so helpful for you! 🥰
Gonna be my first attempt at making something like this. I've been crocheting for 40+ years, but mostly it's been blankets..... love this tutorial, so fingers crossed I'll be able to do it! For the worsted weight yarn you're recommending a 4.25 mm hook, which I don't have. What would be the next best hook size to use? Am I better to drop down to a 4 mm or go up to a 4.5 mm? TIA
Anything smaller will work better. I use the biggest hook I can get away with. Good luck! And hope you enjoy it ❤️😊❤️
❤ love it
Thank you 🥰
I just made this, turned out so cute! 😊
Oh yay! I’m glad you liked it 🥰
Thank you! I've made about 20 of these, following your video. 😊
Yay! That’s awesome! Glad you enjoyed it 🥰
Love this! Hope I can make it looks difficult with attaching the ears. The head and body isn’t hard. Thanks!! ❤
You’re welcome 😊 how’d you do? Once you do it, it won’t seem so hard, just remember 8 sc on each ear, and don’t worry about the hole inbetween. ❤️😊❤️
Saving for later❤❤❤❤
Yay! Hope you enjoy it ! 🥰
Thank you for this great tutorial!! I've made 4 so far! Curious as to how I'd made a medium sized peep? Thanks!
Your so welcome! 🥰 if you are using acrylic I’d try doubling the yarn for a medium size. If your using plush, there isn’t a lot of room for adjusting other than skipping a repeat row, but that may really change the shape. 😊
I just made one and it turned out so cute!
Awesome!!! So glad you liked it ❤️😊❤️
Army of peeps!!!
Haha! Yes for sure! I couldn’t get the right shape last year, and I’m so happy I waited to try again this year. Happy crocheting 😊❤️😊
Very nice Iwilldoit❤
Oh yay, I’m glad you like them! 🥰
Very helpful thank you
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it! ❤️😊❤️
Very cute…. ty for posting…….I need a break from my current project so this is perfect….working along with you now…..would you tell us where you purchase your Safety Eyes……..
Aww thanks! 🥰 they are definitely a good b project for a break, if you can stop at one color, lol. I get my eyes off Amazon. I used to get the multipacks with sizes 6-12mm. Now I just get the size I need. Cause I hardly use 6mm & 8mm.
@@rhondadawnbutler I’m on row 19 now…had to stop for a bit….. I bought eyes from Amazon a long time ago time ago and when I made my Bear, the backings for the large eyes would not go on no matter how hard I pressed……that’s why I asked you where you buy yours bc I thought they maybe were cheap China made ones……I wouldn’t mind paying more for quality ones….now I just used the smaller ones for this Bunny and was able to snap on the backings 🤷🏻♀️😂🤣…going to finish now….tks 👋🏻👋🏻Ooooh and I absolutely love how you place what the stitches are in the current row at the top!!!!!!!!! I was able to put you on pause and complete the row and then I would let you finish that row…..if I didn’t have the correct amount of stitches at the end of the row, I frogged it and started over…..I also grabbed a new Skein of Bernat Velvet to do this Bunny and using the recommended H-hook 5mm….it’s working out just fine………ok chat again soon…. And I would like to send you a monetary ty in the near future for your free Patterns….you deserve it…….🥰👵🏻
@@KT-yq7ed I’ve had that exact same thing happen with eye backs but the were way too big. I ordered 10mm eyes and they came with backs big enough for 20mm eyes. And the bag for the backs were cut open on the side. I just ordered more (they were perfect) and hopefully find a use for the others sometime. Your bunny is going to be gorgeous in the velvet yarn. I need to get some myself in the future and try it out. 🥰
If you didn't crochet your tail in, would it be inside or outside the ear? I think I crocheted my first peep inside out.
It should be on the inside. You want to make sure it’s starts curving away from you, and your hook ends up on the front side (between you and your project) and not the back side ( with your project between you and the hook). Unless you like it that way, but I find it harder to crochet inside out on purpose 😊
Thank you for sharing this video and your peeps pattern. Are you creating a slip know it the beginning or just a knotted loop? I can’t get my ring to close after stitching the first row. Absolute beginner here .
*slip knot
I’m doing an actual knot. A slip knot would work awesomely, better even. But for some reason I always do it backwards. So the knot slides on the tail, no matter how many times I try it, lol. As long as you have 6sc for the first row, you can start your loop/ring any way you like 👍🥰
I think I can do this! Thx a bunch! 😍
You definitely can! The hardest part is joining the ears, just make sure you have 16 stitches and the rest should be easy 👍❤️😊
Love it! How much yarn do you use for the bulky yarn?
Thank you! 🥰 I didn’t take note of the amount used for the blanket yarn, but stuffed it weighs 3.2 ounces. So I’d say it uses around 1.6 ounces for the big one and 0.4 ounces for the regular yarn. 😊
If you put the backing of the safety eyes on the other way, it holds way better. I also put hot glue over the post and melt it a bit with the tip of the glue gun. The eyes aren't going anywhere 😂
I definitely agree with you on the glue gun! Lol. If I was making these to sell I’d do that for every one. That is a great tip, I never think of mentioning it so thanks for adding it here in the comments ❤️😊❤️
❤❤❤❤
Glad you like it ❤️
What is the height of the one you did with the #6 blanket yarn?
The one in plush yarn is about 9.5 inches, but that could vary depending on how you stuff it 😊
My daughter is going to be so happy. She loves peeps but has been in training for lifting competition so she couldn't have them. Now she is expecting number 2 so she can't have them this year. 🎉
One way or another your getting her some peeps, lol. Glad you like them, and congrats on baby number two. ❤️😊❤️
Do you have a tutorial for your pin cushion that is in the video😊
Yes! It’s one of my first videos, so not the best, but I’ll post you the link here 🥰 Crochet alien brain slug futurama RAOK

Can I use the same crochet pattern with a chunkier yarn?
Yes! 😊 the blue bunny in the middle is made with #6 yarn
Thank you 😊 😊😊
Your so welcome 🥰
Wanted to make this for my toddler for Easter, since I just lost my job and can’t afford to buy one already made. Any advice for someone struggling? I attempted the larger of the two yarns, And I’m not sure how to locate what/where the stitches go to crochet the second row after creating the first! So hard to explain via message. WISH ME LUCK! ❤
Honestly, I would practice first using the smaller yarn because it's much easier to see the stitches. Then you have a better feel for things when you use the bulky yarn. Also, you can slow down the video and zoom in to see better. Hope this helps.
The larger yarn is really tricky to get the hang of. For me, I have to get the feel for the next stitch. When I first started with it I almost gave up. Honestly the first couple rows are the hardest. I just kept doing the first three rows over and over for a bit, and had to mark between my chain to attach the yarn and my very first crochet so I knew where my second row started. Still do, lol.
Also, I haven’t tried it myself yet, but a #5 velvet yarn might be easier to work with before doing the larger plush yarn. There won’t a lot of size difference, but it might be easier to see the stitches. 👍😊❤️
I keep getting a hole in the head right in between the two ears! Idk what I’m doing wrong 🤦🏽♀️
@@Pageantchiick yes, there will be a hole there, and you will use the tail from the other ear to close that shit 😊 I think I do it around the time I add the eyes and nose 👍😊
@@rhondadawnbutler goodness! I’ve never crocheted before and I’m getting so many ads trying to skim through the video, I must’ve missed that part since I haven’t watched it in full or made it that far yet! 🤦🏽♀️ Guess I should’ve watched the entire thing. Thank you so much for all of your help!!💙
How do I get written instructions?
The only written instructions are at the top during the video. 😊
Thank you❤
You're welcome 🥰
Easter is coming up… it’s time to make some peeps!
Lol, yes!!! Hope you enjoy making them 🥰
💕💋🙏🏼
❤️😊❤️
I made one and it’s so cute.
Oh yay! I’m glad you like it 🥰

What you said makes absolutely no sense. you can't say make as many as you like and sell them but do not reproduce that makes no sense? How do you sell something you're not allowed to reproduce?
It’s don’t reproduce the “pattern” as your own. You can most definitely sell anything you make 😊
How rude!
How about “thank you for sharing your pattern and doing a full tutorial - all for free”.
What she said makes perfect sense - you can sell any peeps you make but you cannot reproduce and sell her pattern.
@@cathypage0507 I just seen the how rude, and was like oh no what did I do, lol. But I see now, and I thank you sooo much for having my back. ❤️😊❤️
