A great hotel indeed..and yes, it does go up over christmas. I booked it for the christmas week as my staycation hotel. They also have a boat and offer sunset cruises to customers.

I’ve stayed at a few hotels in Phnom Penh and the Ohana Phnom Penh Palace Hotel was by far the best value, great buffet breakfast included in the price until 12 noon, 2 swimming pools one on the ground floor plus 2 small pools on the roof, glorious view, very large rooms and friendly staff. Also great location next to the Riverside and an interesting street market! Very very comparable as an alternative to the one you stayed at Eddie!

Great hotel I have stayed here, to visit the killing fields very sad but well worth a visit. Lovely pool.

Thanks for the review. Was in Phnom Phenh last month and loved it. Going back in February. Thanks to you for the review of the hotel. I just booked 3 nights there on Agoda. £26 per night including breakfast. Bargain and great location. Cheers!

I did the Okay Boutique Hotel in 2022 and it is indeed a fine hotel. Not fancy, but very much above the bar. Don't get turned off by the side alley, plenty of lights, tuk tuks and ATMs. All good. Nice view over the Arts university.
In terms of Wi-Fi, I was actually working for a week out of here

Stayed in the blue lime next to this hotel before. It's a great location. Short walk from some decent bars on street 172. Think I might book this hotel for my trip there in January. Thanks for the video Ed!

Was in the blue lime in November, they were struggling to be fair not as it used to be, think the lockdown has broken them a bit.
This is definitely a better option.

Stayed there twice before, I agree it's a lovely hotel. Having to take your shoes off before you enter the breakfast restaurant.

Stayed there three times last year with my friends, great hotel, restaurant is good, just be aware of the tuk tuk drivers out front ,they will take advantage of you , check with hotel on correct prices for tuk tuk.

Eddie i stayed there about 3 yrs ago when i worked in cambodia its a great hotel i had a boss room very big sofa in there bed tv it was great the pool is great the room i had was a family room ihad my wife and daughter its great there enjoy it

Oh btw just a couple bucks more and your room goes from 27sqm to 35 sqm with a sofa and larger balcony and higher floors ,give you a great view. 😊

I was in Phnom Penh in October and stayed very close to there at the King Boutique, $30 US, across from the royal park. Very nice but no pool or breakfast, I will check this one out next visit. Cheers from Texas!

Eddie, you should spend Xmas and New Year Eve Count Down in Pub Street or NagaWorld Casino in PP. You will love it. Prior to that, you should visit Diamond Island and Euro Park.

Just checked the price for the hotel and it was going for $67 USD and that was supposingly on special, maybe Xmas time prices , either way you got a good deal
Ah so it’s not just me. I checked it also. February was cheaper than January. For 7 nights 20 Feb to 27 Feb Agoda showed no vacancies but Booking gave the price as 13,855 THB which comes out around $57/night.

OK Boutique. I used that for a few years (before get apartment), very nice hotel next to school of fine arts. 5 min to Riverside and the palace. A hotel I would recommend. Oh and my mate of about 20 years, Sokah, owns the blue chilli lol. Ya get a show there Friday and Saturday night....
I stayed there in January very nice and I had stayed before ....and there a nice Cambodia restaurant the other end of road very cheap ... And a nice India other side of the road hotel

I stayed there in 2015 and it was great, just as you described. They are also very Girl Friendly. The best part was the pool but the rooms were elegant. Think I paid more than 27 llbs per night though.
Stayed there many a time. They have a smaller sister hotel round the corner too

Hey Steady Eddy, enjoy your videos. I will be in Cambodia in February at both Phnom Penh and Siem Reim. Just two singles guys and which city should we spend most time at and does 136 street have best looking P for P girls or are they better in Siem Reim? Yeah, during the day we are doing temples at Siem Reim and touristy stuff at Phnom Penh.
It's worth visiting both places.

Although haven't been Cambodia, like the Philippines ( have been) just doesn't look as good as pattaya mate. Maybe a little cheaper but Thailand is probably safer, better medical facilities if you need it, better dining options. Yes you can say I'm not there but am pretty sure by your videos I'd be fuggin back off to pattaya. Angeles city in Philippines was not up to scratch i got out after a couple days. Long live pattaya.
Cambodia is very safe...I love how westerners say what's safe... compared to USA or England

Yeah I paid 854 pound for my flight thai airways from Heathrow to Bangkok for march 16th I booked about a month ago ! 850 is about as cheap as you can get right now ! I was in thailand in September and my flight was 551 so for March it's 300 more

Steady Eddy - Nice hotel! Reminds me a little of the former Jasmine Hotel on Soi BJ in Pattaya, which had similar artistic statues and sculptures for a budget price.
That room is a bit dark and looks like it's in the staff quarters,the view from the balcony reminds me of Wormwood Scrubs.Cheers

Looks great ! When I stayed in Phnom Penh in a 1960's building, I couldn't help but think of when the Khmer Rouge emptied the city and it was mainly deserted for 4 (?) years.
This city has sure seen some horrors

Hi Eddie, if you are going to Koh Rong, you should check out Than Sour Resort in Koh Rong and Mafiya Resort at Heaven Island. You will love it more than Koh Rong itself. Just FYI
