    There has to be more Black professors?!! Why not have more QUALIFIED professors!!! Regardless of race. Where is White Entertainment Television, Miss White America, United Caucasian College Fund, White Student Unions at colleges, Quotas for White Professional Athletes, White only college graduation ceremonies, White History Month, etc.?.....

      Because of all the quotas, the average student is more dumb. Many of those students are not intellectually gifted enough to be in that class/college. They should have been in vocational training. They will have perpetual impostor syndrome for their entire lives now. It's bad for everyone, all around.

    Finally someone is addressing the percentages data

    • @Psych9589
      @Psych9589 3 дні тому

      This professor is disingenuous when presenting data. For example when he talked about crime he used percentages and not total numbers to make an argument about blacks being more likely to commit crime. But when he presented data about poverty he used total number and never addressed the rate at which blacks are more likely to be in poverty.

    • @ScottMedinaX
      @ScottMedinaX 2 дні тому

      @@Psych9589 I would agree that when you’re presenting data you should be consistent with how you present the results and not just use the data to fit your narrative. I should have been more clear regarding my comment about him presenting using percentages. My point was when you’re measuring results of DEI initiatives (which I disagree with) the percentages should match the population percentages. For example if you want to hire a more ethically diverse workforce, you should expect that the staff you hire should match the ethnicity of the population at large. So if the population of blacks in the US is 13.6% then you should expect to see that percentage in your workplace for DEI to be “fair.”

    Ok, we as Corporate America are being forced into this DEI BS because as a President and CEO our job is to make sure our companies are profitable so we look to hire THE BEST people who are the most intelligent and it should NOT matter about a person's ethnicity if you are the best you'll get hired because to me the last thing I'm looking at is what color your skin is because I'll hire anyone who is intelligent enough to tackle any assignments given to them without assistance and make sure that our profit margin is maintained! So I don't need anyone telling me who to hire to have a quota on skin color, I will hire ANYONE who can do the job! Period! If you present yourself as the best candidate, you're hired no matter what ethnicity you may be So become that person!

    • @Psych9589
      @Psych9589 3 дні тому +1

      The problem is that in America we often never choose the BEST and often times we choose likeness. You also said you want someone that you can give any assignment to and they do not need assistance. That is a problem because if someone is given a task that they need assistance with you will most likely view them as unintelligent or incompetent. Having high expectations is not a problem but having expectations of perfection is.

      @@Psych9589 At our company we work as a team! What I am saying when saying "Without any assistance" is that as managers we don't want people who are constantly asking for assistance especially for simple tasks for instance I had one man who came in and said he had his own restaurant well the man couldn't even prepare a simple recipe I have been a professional chef since 1992 and a food service facilities planning and design consultant since 2000 if I send a person to a client that expects us to have cooking skills and he doesn't we lose 10 clients because it's "the rule of tens" we need people who are proficient in their jobs because our job is sometimes to train cooks and chefs!

    This really speaks to advertisers seeing the black population as a consumer class. Generally speaking, black folks will spend their last to keep up appearances. That’s definitely perpetuated, or at least taken advantage of by advertisers. There is a good, nature versus nurture, or life imitating art versus art imitating life, aspect to this conversation as well, but for sure consumerism is eating black folks alive.

    Current statistics are 57.5% of the NFL is African American. 28% European descent or White, the remaining percent between Asian, MENA, Pacific Islander, & Latino. This gets confusing with American classifications cause I'm Latino, yet I'm 100% European descent & White.

  • @mikewu2108

    🤔 when leftist black students travel overseas to study, do you check if those universities from overseas are DEI qualified having enough black populations to meet your needs to feel at home to study in?
    You don’t care what is the population of black students and what is the populations of black professors when you choose your overseas universities to study in other countries. Your main goal is to study and finish your study achieving everything you set out to achieve.
    Then why do you feel the need to have DEI and quotas for everything in your life in usa?

    As someone who worked for 36 years in the field of investigating crimes and 'incidents', and then developing possible causes and solutions, I learned to proceed backwards. In this video, I would ask 'why'. Why are some minorities under-represented? Is it racism? Based on my experience, I believe it is twofold. Primarily, we have a failed public school system that forces poorer minority children to stay in these schools and not stand a chance in the post high school world. Secondly, the breakdown of the black family is astronomical and self-imposed. We must solve these 'root causes' to proceed. And to always claim racism is counterproductive, lazy, and will not solve any problem.

      In the 40s and 50s the black communities were the fastest growing communities in the nation and it wasn't even close. Unfortunately a lot of that had to do with world wars and industries making products for the military. When we were no longer getting all that funding from the wars the black communities were the first to lose these industries.

    • @Psych9589
      @Psych9589 3 дні тому

      Self-imposed? This issue didn’t begin until the 70s. So throughout slavery and for almost a hundred years after it ended black families were together. But in a quick fashion it took a turn. I can’t imagine that blacks just decided they were done with their families after everything we went through. External factors played a role and some internal factors kept it alive. We focus a lot on the outcomes and little attention on the causes.
