Some great games in that lot, slam tilt is awesome, I actually own most of them games now since the making of this video, although lion heart I only own the disk, stunning graphics
Jochen Hippel. Turrican 2 is probably his 2nd best ever score (after Amberstar of course). He is probably one of the 3 greatest computer music composers, along with Ben Daglish and Ron Hubbard.
@@worldsendace ahhh.. Hippel did the ST version of Turrican (as well as Badcat and Giana Sisters), with Huelsbeck doing the Amiga version. As an Atari owner in that era, I only remembered the Atari composers....
Some classic nostalgia in your video here 😊,thanks for sharing, need my retro fix every now and then as I was an owner of these games many moons ago, it still makes me feel good to see them again!! Defender of the crown has a special place in my heart ❣
Hi Sinisteve! Although I did not own a Commodore Amiga in my youth (my cousin did though) I love watching those compilation videos. There are some hidden gems on these 'older' systems I might have yet to find out; recently I have been watching a lot of C64 gameplay haha. Some of those Amiga games luckily also found their way to the PC, so I'm not totally out of the loop I guess. Anyway, thank you for the video! Greetings, Ossel
Thanks for watching matey, I did do a top 25 for c64 too ua-cam.com/video/3_YDFNac-_8/v-deo.html My nostalgia glasses were firmly on whilst choosing the games though😂
All very iconic Amiga games, I did play zool as a kid but never really got into it, which is surprising as I love Gremlin Graphics Thanks for watching dude👍
What a memory, I'm validating your list. I'll just addd : The Ninja Warriors, Worms, Shadow of the beast, Battle Chess, Great Courts Hybris, Apprentice, Soccer Rival and PP Hammer ;-) and best of all: X-copy, who's the reason I got all these games.
John Smea haha yeah everyone needs x copy in their lives, I still use mine now to check disks, very little for copying though, Hybris would’ve been there if I’d had it when this video was made, I’ve got in now though, possibly the same for pp hammer too, although I’ve only got the budget version, that games expensive😳
I spent whole summer holidays playing sensible soccer. Can't count how many joysticks I broke trying to score from the half way line. Great video - thanks for putting it together.
I still play sensi quite regular now haha And yes finding a good joystick for it took ages! I use a cruiser power play, they’re awesome, and still have mine fully working from back in the day!
Even though I'm a faithful ATARI ST fan there are a lot of AMIGA games I could have mentioned here : No Jim Power? Zool? Lionheart? What about other Team17 games such as Project X for instance?
s_t_s I could’ve made this video my favourite 100 games and still missed some out, just shows how great the library is, I definitely didn’t own those 3 at the making of this video, I do own Jim Power now and I admit it’s awesome, only own lionheart as disks with no box but the graphics are stunning
Thanks for the childhood memories on this one. Making lots of new school friends with xcopy. Was just reminded how dark psygnosis games were and how bloody difficult they were to play. Now I feel the regret again of selling my old Amiga 500 in 93 because I was convinced I needed to upgrade to a 486, sigh...
@@Sinisteve so many, hard to choose but top 5 includes NZStory, Rainbow Islands, ChaseHQ, Venus Flytrap, Sidewinder 2, Xenon 2 and Lemmings. Ah well make that top 6...
Nice to see my personal favorite Amiga game - Speedball 2 - reaching a high place... all in all a nice list very close to my own (if I was to make one) :)
I miss some other great games in your list like Gods, Xenon II, SWIV, The chaos engine, kick off 2, the lotus series, Supercars II... The Amiga 500 was awesome
Could not agree more. When i first played rocket ranger...... it was just amazing. In my life time the big leaps in gaming were the amiga and the ps1. Loved the amiga the most though. Cheers for the vid
So many classics here, one of my all time favs was Turrican 2 but it drove me nuts as i only had a pirated copy which always crashed before i could complete it :(
Wow, great fun watching this. I’m with you on alien breed, super frog, batman, speedball 2, rod land, turrican 2, IK+, lemmings and Pang... loved all those... others in my top 25 would be- chuck rock, chaos engine, body blows, zool 2, can’t think of any more right now..
Nice video! Commodore amiga 500 was my first computer I bought it in 1989 still I have my commodore amiga 500. Also brilliant games was: The three stooges, California games, Sword of sodan, Fright night , Blood money , The trilogy Shadow of the beast, It game from the dessert, F18 Interceptor ,Eye of the beholder 1 and 2, and many more!
Thanks for the memories. I totally forgot about New Zealand story, loved that and international karate plus especially the bonus shield ball levels. Sat here on a day off raining outside and watching this good times over 30 years ago for me. What about shadow of the beast! That’s the first game I saw in an Amiga at a mates house and started saving £1 coins to raise the £499 I think the console was back then in a plastic tub called Amiga fund. Good times
Glad you enjoyed the memories, I remember our 500 plus being £500 from Kay’s catalogue...proper spoilt as a kid ha Shadow of the Beast was an amazing demo to what the Amiga could do but it definitely wasn’t a great game in my opinion
Its so amazing how games looks today !!! Almost photorealistic............. I´m glad i experienced the old days so i can enjoy the new games much more.
Nice video. Some blasts from the past and a bunch of games I've never seen before. (I used to play my wealthier cousins' Amiga, but I only had a C64 way back when.)
wow, an absolutely fantastic trip down memory lane! stunt car racer, I completely forgot about that game! I. LOVED. Moonstone, such a great game! And we can't forget Monkey Island, with its 100000000 disks :p great video, thanks for putting it out there! :)
Really good video and very interesting to see your choices, thanks for sharing them. It’s not an easy exercise when there are so many classics on the system. The fact there’s no room for the likes of Chaos Engine, Monkey Island, Flashback, Another World, Wings, Lotus 2 etc just shows how difficult it is. Different tastes and nostalgia for different stuff means everyone would have a slightly different list and that’s what makes it so interesting I suppose. I’ve never been that keen on single screen platformers (Pang, Rodland etc), at least since Bubble Bobble on the 8-bits, so that would have freed up some room for others in mine.
W B ah it was a ridiculous task to be honest....I might do a follow up video of the 10 games that could of made it...Lotus was close, great for its time, still amazing music but game a bit meh these days, same goes for supercars Thanks for Watching👍
There's something so magical about the amiga graphics and that sound chip, some of my fav games were moonstone, gods, it came from the desert 2, xennon 2, wings, ik+, megalomania, powermonger, cannon fodder, chaos engine, north and south, lotus turbo challenge 2.
Cheers buddy, I’ve picked up so many bundles down the years and just kept the games in better condition, so much more satisfying than spending a fortune per game
An enjoyable video featuring my favorite game system. Some top games there and obviously we all have games we like and others don't. I did something similar about 6 years ago but i'm sure the list would be different now. Good stuff :)
Diego Sclama I couldn’t include monkey island as I didn’t own it at the time, would definitely have been top 10 Kick Off 2 doesn’t compare to SWOS😉 Shadow of the Beasts gameplay isn’t fantastic imo, very iconic but It wouldn’t even get in my top 50 And Banshee is good but I had so many other shooters in there, I might do a shmup list for the Amiga
@@Sinisteve Kick Off 2 and SWOS should both have been in this list. I loved both of them. One shouldn't just be excluded because of the other. You included multiple platform games for example. Cannon Fodder should have been much higher in my opinion. There was strategy to it, not just pure running and shooting as made out in your screenshots. I know you only included games you owned, but Prince of Persia and Another World should have been on this list (Syndicate also rings a bell). I can only assume you didn't own it. There are some seriously bad games on this list though. Also I can only assume you didn't like racing games as I loved OutRun, Chase HQ, and Lotus Turbo Challenge, or Microprose's Formula One Grand Prix (which I played with against my friends).
Matt Potter syndicate was on the cutting list purely because of the really juddery scrolling I don’t think it’s aged great, don’t get me wrong it’s a great game but if you didn’t grow up with it I think it’ll be a hard one to go back to... Lotus probably should’ve been on there but definitely not Outrun and Chase Hq! They were absolutely terrible ports, and I did grow up with them too, I loved the arcades back in the day and I’ve owned Chase Hq and still own an Outrun and the Amiga versions are unplayable...obviously only my opinion and if we all had the same it would be a boring world.. What bad games are on there if you don’t mind me asking?
I do own hired guns but never played it, I didn’t own Jim Power before making this video but I do now and would definitely make the top 50... I might go on to make my top 100 as my mind changed daily😂chaos engine and ruff n tumble were so close to getting in this video, as was syndicate
@@Sinisteve Psygnosis also did a game called Blood Money which should have been on the list just for the music (ua-cam.com/video/1GvyoHfku5U/v-deo.html). Of the games you presented, Lemmings would have been number 1 for me. Also, I would have included games like: Reach for the Stars (Turn based strategy), Cyber Empires (Mech builder / real time combat / Turn based strategy game), Dungeon Master / Chaos Strikes Back (RPGs), and Battle Chess (Normal chess + combat animations :)).
My fave were project X, chaos engine 2, banshee, soccer kid, monkey Island 2, flashback, gunship 2000, virus, ruff n tumble, settlers 2, dune 2000... The list goes on lol
Too many to choose isn’t there...you’re the first person I’ve heard saying they like chaos engine 2, I thought it was a very mediocre sequel to a classic game
@@Sinisteve lol I liked it. And swiv, gloom, rlick dangerous. Magic pockets. Nodulous, bio, syndicate, it came from the desert, lotus esprit turbo challenge, vroom etc lol

100% That’s why the majority of their games are still so sought after, I’m going for a full set myself, around 15 needed I think, the artwork is amazing
... I am glad you included moonstone. You should have shown the battle with the big red dragon's head. The cinemaware basketball game was quite good too ... so was the game with a bunch of gangs in New York city ...
I captured all the footage myself and it was taking far too long when I got into a game, think I played buggy boy for over half hour for a minutes footage😂imagine how long I would’ve been playing moonstone for to get there lol Yeah tv sports basketball was great back in the day, not sure it’s aged great though Thanks for watching
Blaze Entertainment recently announced that they would be releasing Amiga collections for the Evercade beginning in 2023. As I don't own an Amiga this is great news for me. They've thus far released 300+ games for Evercade as part of Arcade, Computer, and Console/Handheld collections. So far this has included games for the Atari 2600, 7800, Lynx, Nintendo NES, SNES, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Intellivision, Sega Master System (as a hidden game on the Evercade Vs console; there're several that have been discovered thus far for various systems), Mega Drive, and Commodore 64. All cartridges are multicarts holding between 7 and 20 games each (one only has two). They have three lines of carts. Console/Handheld (Red cases), Arcade (Purple cases), and Computer (Blue cases). They are compatible with their original handheld models, the new EXP model handheld, and the Vs console. And no, I'm not a shill for Blaze, I merely collect and play the carts.
What joystick does everyone use for playing amiga games. I remember having a micro switch joystick, but cant remember what it was called. I think these games don’t play well with keyboard/crap joysticks. Update It's an MCA Star Cursor
Robert I’ve always used Power Play Cruisers...I have every variant, they came in 6 different designs...I like them because you can adjust the tension of the stick. I know that monster joysticks make a new 2 button stick with arcade parts, which is useful for games that uses the space bar as the 2nd button as that’s mapped to the stick so no more leaning over... Over popular joysticks are zip sticks and competition pros
Growing Perspective I feel sorry for your loss. It's a good mini console. No doubt. But some games are missing. Like Phalanx. Super Turrican 1&2. Earthworm Jim 1&2. Chrono Trigger.
Thank-you for the memories! You might have just pushed me over the edge on buying a second hand Amiga and restarting the collection! Your collection of original boxes games is amazing. Have you kept this up from back in the day or did you get back into starting up your collection later in life?
Yeah pick one up! They’re cheap enough if you look around...I’ve still got all my disks from back in the day, I had around 50 boxed games then but I threw the boxes away stupidly as they were taking up too much room under my bed🙄 Luckily I got back into it around 2004 and was picking games up from eBay for pennies
@@Sinisteve I'm having a great time watching all your content. Have you ever considered doing a bit of a "tips and tricks" video for anyone thinking of jumping into starting there own retro collection?
I do own it but never played it, just bought it as part of the Psygnosis set I’m going for, has it aged well? Obviously some old games are nearly impossible to go back and play if you didn’t play them back in the day
@@Sinisteve we never played the missions. You can have 4 players (1 mouse, 1 joystick and 2 keyboard) and just hunt and kill each other. It was literally way ahead of its time in that regard. May have not aged well but back then it was like we'd discovered something noone knew about. Epic Deathmatch sessions.
Watched every second of that Steve, it was a joy you watch. So many memories for me on there. And to honest most of my favourite games were in that list. New Zealand story and Batman were pack in titles in my Amiga pack. My favourite Amiga game ever is Persian Gulf Inferno. Have you ever played it? Burntoutculture never heard of Persian Gulf Inferno...I’ll check it out on whdload later... When capturing all the footage I was playing the games for much longer than needed haha, I was on Buggy Boy for nearly an hour for that minute clip😂
Brilliant video, some great choices a few I didn't agree with, a lot I did but with the Amiga there are so many classics to choose from it's impossible for two people to choose the same. I want to fire the Amiga up now 😍
David retro games played badly Birdsall yeah it has a ridiculously large library, I was trying to rate them without my nostalgia glasses... What games would’ve made your list then David?
Kick Off 1 and 2. Altered Beast. IK+. Defender of the Crown. Onslaught. Spherical. Speedball 2. Arkanoid 1 and 2. Lemmings...I could go on forever... Love your video.
Quality game, I never had an original copy growing up and I’ll always remember searching for one in the early 2000s, baring in mind I was picking Amiga games up for next to nothing Moonstone was around £50-£80! I remember getting one for £40 and upgrading it a few times, now it fetches £200+ Iconic game
SWOS, Lemmings, Rainbow Islands, Rod-Land, Buggy Boy - lots of my favourites here. The Amiga had such a vast, varied catalogue across so many years that 25 is nowhere near enough. I could easily choose 25 other games that I loved (especially strategy games), and someone else could probably suggest another 25 that they loved. Not that there wasn't lots of crud as well, of course.
Yeah love a bit of moonstone, think it took me around a year to remember what it was called around 2004 and even then it was quite an expensive game, baring in mind I was getting Amiga games for hardly anything moonstone cost me around £40

Thanks for making me think up my own list! The top 10 are in my blog already, but I had to really think about the others!
Some great games in that lot, slam tilt is awesome, I actually own most of them games now since the making of this video, although lion heart I only own the disk, stunning graphics
Turrican 2 ..... one of the best games ever . Great fun topples with amazing music 👍
Simon R completely agree, I really wanted that Turrican release on vinyl but it was stupidly expensive
Jochen Hippel. Turrican 2 is probably his 2nd best ever score (after Amberstar of course). He is probably one of the 3 greatest computer music composers, along with Ben Daglish and Ron Hubbard.
Debbiebabe69 love Rob Hubbards work, Monty in the Run on the c64 is probably my favourite all time gaming score
@@Debbiebabe69 turrican wasnt Hippel. IT was Chris Hülsbeck.
Thanks for watching👍yeah defender of the crown is amazing, a lot prefer the c64 version but this is what I grew up playing
Greetings,
Ossel
Thanks for watching matey, I did do a top 25 for c64 too ua-cam.com/video/3_YDFNac-_8/v-deo.html
My nostalgia glasses were firmly on whilst choosing the games though😂
Very nicely presented list, makes you want to play some Amiga games!
OperationPhantom then my job is done...😊
These Amiga games deserve a remaster and re-release. Hoping for Amiga mini collection.
An Amiga mini would look great on my shelf lol thanks for watching
An Amiga mini?! Take my money!!!
There has been a couple of Amiga games remastered & released on Steam. Found Wings & the Secret of Monkey Island on there :)
Wow ! nice playlist ! I used to love Switchblade 2, Shadow of the beast, North & South, Zool, Another World, Flashback as well !
All very iconic Amiga games, I did play zool as a kid but never really got into it, which is surprising as I love Gremlin Graphics
Thanks for watching dude👍
Zool was good, as was flashback
Yes for Turrican 2 (specially the music of the introduction !!) and Speedball II for the brutal(ity) deluxe. However, where is all the good staff ?
What a memory, I'm validating your list.
I'll just addd : The Ninja Warriors, Worms, Shadow of the beast, Battle Chess, Great Courts Hybris, Apprentice, Soccer Rival and PP Hammer ;-)
and best of all: X-copy, who's the reason I got all these games.
I still play sensi quite regular now haha
And yes finding a good joystick for it took ages!
@@Sinisteve At least you didn't miss Turrican 2 that was also one of the best games on ATARI ST! :)
Thanks for watching, did you have a favourite game?
@@Sinisteve so many, hard to choose but top 5 includes NZStory, Rainbow Islands, ChaseHQ, Venus Flytrap, Sidewinder 2, Xenon 2 and Lemmings. Ah well make that top 6...
Just throw that rubbish port of chase hq out of there and that can be your 5 lol
Great list !
I would like to add a few honorable mentions :-
Troddlers
Zany Golf
Gods
Magic Pockets
X-copy
Nice to see my personal favorite Amiga game - Speedball 2 - reaching a high place... all in all a nice list very close to my own (if I was to make one) :)
I miss some other great games in your list like Gods, Xenon II, SWIV, The chaos engine, kick off 2, the lotus series, Supercars II... The Amiga 500 was awesome
I could’ve done 100 games and still missed out classics, as you say mate the a500 was awesome(still is)
Let’s not forget R-Type.
Could not agree more. When i first played rocket ranger...... it was just amazing. In my life time the big leaps in gaming were the amiga and the ps1. Loved the amiga the most though. Cheers for the vid
Pinball dreams - what a blast from the past. So addictive 👍
Pinball games always are... Superfrog of one of my favourites apart from Turrican and Lotus games.
So many classics here, one of my all time favs was Turrican 2 but it drove me nuts as i only had a pirated copy which always crashed before i could complete it :(
Max Moughal 🙈🙈
Lovd the Apidya Soundtrack
It’s amazing, would love it on vinyl
enjoyed the video mate , nicely put together :)
my list would be different but that just shows what a great library of games the Amiga had :)
Cheers fella, you’re gonna have to tell me some of the games you would’ve added👍
Chaos Engine came close to getting on there, maybe I should’ve done a top 100, missed loads of great games, thanks for watching
Great video bud and some truly awesome games in that collection
SEGA Zombie cheers Scott👍just need a bigger house to store them in🙈got another 4 big boxes in the loft🙄
Nice video! Commodore amiga 500 was my first computer I bought it in 1989 still I have my commodore amiga 500. Also brilliant games was: The three stooges, California games, Sword of sodan, Fright night , Blood money , The trilogy Shadow of the beast, It game from the dessert, F18 Interceptor ,Eye of the beholder 1 and 2, and many more!
har pap love blood money and just bought it came from the desert and antheads as so many people recommended it
Thanks for watching👍
Damn, watching this makes me hate that I'm old now.
Mad isn’t it, feels like the Dreamcast is still quite modern but it’s 20 years old😳
Another great game was Heimdal. The cartoon style battle was amazing for it's time. Great video
Good times
Glad you enjoyed the memories, I remember our 500 plus being £500 from Kay’s catalogue...proper spoilt as a kid ha
Shadow of the Beast was an amazing demo to what the Amiga could do but it definitely wasn’t a great game in my opinion
We always used to have SWOS tournaments on my PC when I was at Uni. Ahhh good times
great, i will add The Settlers, North and South and Sensible Soccer
m2wojtek no need to add sensi, that’s #1! Awesome game, I really need to get into north and south, everyone seems to love it, thanks for watching
Defender of the Crown, cannon fodder, sensibele soccer. Awesome
Oh man. Where's my youth gone! Pinball Dreams. Best pinball ever! Speedball II, Bomberman, IK+ ... Ahhh... :)
😂I feel exactly the same how were they like 30 years old🙈
Its so amazing how games looks today !!! Almost photorealistic............. I´m glad i experienced the old days so i can enjoy the new games much more.
It’s mad how far gaming has come in what feels a relatively short time
Nice video. Some blasts from the past and a bunch of games I've never seen before. (I used to play my wealthier cousins' Amiga, but I only had a C64 way back when.)
Holy Megaton Ten thanks for watching dude...
I did actually do my favourite c64 games too
ua-cam.com/video/pYcaSfm2Jlw/v-deo.html
Great list for priceless machine !
Brilliant peace of kit . very much used still used today by myself excellent mods out there for the different Amigas out there to .
wow, an absolutely fantastic trip down memory lane! stunt car racer, I completely forgot about that game! I. LOVED. Moonstone, such a great game! And we can't forget Monkey Island, with its 100000000 disks :p great video, thanks for putting it out there! :)
Thanks for watching☺️
Also Archer Mcleans Snooker was great
Really good video and very interesting to see your choices, thanks for sharing them.
W B ah it was a ridiculous task to be honest....I might do a follow up video of the 10 games that could of made it...Lotus was close, great for its time, still amazing music but game a bit meh these days, same goes for supercars
Thanks for Watching👍
That music for Pinball Fantasies... brings goosebumps. Such an amazing game.
And Pinball Dreams :-D
CooChewGames both are unreal, I was trying to keep to one game per franchise, but they both had to be in there😍
wow totally forgot about buggy boy for the last 30+ years lol. forgot how much i enjoyed it. great list btw
Great game, the Amiga version is my favourite port even though most prefer the c64 version, great game
Wow what a great collection!
Cheers buddy, I will eventually do videos on my collection👍
There's something so magical about the amiga graphics and that sound chip, some of my fav games were moonstone, gods, it came from the desert 2, xennon 2, wings, ik+, megalomania, powermonger, cannon fodder, chaos engine, north and south, lotus turbo challenge 2.
Someday games will look just as good as their covers
Great list of games which brought back the good old gaming days of Amiga, especially SWOS, I played that game so much 😄
I still do🙈got a huge sensi collection
Would love to get hold of an Amiga to play again. I also remember a game called Deluxe Galaga and seem to remember it being very addictive
Xout in ur collection wicked, excellent condition you have kept all these superb 👍
Good stuff :)
ash81b4u cheers Ash, I’m gonna go back and find that vid👍
Monkey island, kick off 2,Shadow of the beast, banshee...
Diego Sclama I couldn’t include monkey island as I didn’t own it at the time, would definitely have been top 10
Kick Off 2 doesn’t compare to SWOS😉
Shadow of the Beasts gameplay isn’t fantastic imo, very iconic but It wouldn’t even get in my top 50
And Banshee is good but I had so many other shooters in there,
I might do a shmup list for the Amiga
Swos is a clone of kick off 2
Gianna sister's!
There were many amazing games. Some that you didn't pick: Hired Guns, Ruff n Tumble, Chaos Engine, Toki, Zool 2, Jim Power.
Mark Rushworth well I’m glad that most of the games mentioned I already own, took me ages to get vroom, don’t see it often
@@Sinisteve yeah it's faaaast. A great addition despite the st version being better (spits) lol
Thanks for the taking me back in time 🫡.
Cannon Fodder was awesome .... By far my favourite Amiga game. I've even bought it on my Megadrive 2 now as my Amiga is kaput
Just as long as you have the mega drive mouse😉doesn’t feel right on a pad
I didnt know there was a megadrive mouse !!! I know what you mean though, the joypad just feels awkward !!! Doesnt stop the fun though !!!
Good old Jools & Jops !!! Always left them behind so I could get them promoted to the highest rank possible
Not an arguement, it's your list!
But I seem the remember these games very often: Gravitywars, Marble madness, Archon, Populous.
Thx for the video. Memories
Thank you for the Childhood memories 😊👍🙋♂️
No probs thanks for watching👍
Cannon Fodder is such an epic game! I really wish someone would re release a proper version!
Can you still download any versions for the PC?
Simon Webb just play the Amiga version on your pc via winuae👍
A nice selection of tasty titles mate :) I'm well overdue a similar video me thinks!
Thank you for sharing Steve, and congratulations on reaching, and indeed exceeding, 200 subs :)
MrBads_Games cheers Paul going to make more of an effort this year😊
Yeah would love to see your favourites mate, then I’ll probably add them to my list of games to get like I did with Agony😂
Superfrog!!
Psygnosis were the kings when it came to doing beautiful paralax scrolling effects and video game box artwork
100%
That’s why the majority of their games are still so sought after, I’m going for a full set myself, around 15 needed I think, the artwork is amazing
@@Sinisteve Yep, i miss the box artwork of the 80's / 90's . Modern day stuff is often far less creative
@@Sinisteve Forgot to say, the theme music for Shadow of the beast gives me the nostalgia feels everytime i hear it.
... I am glad you included moonstone. You should have shown the battle with the big red dragon's head. The cinemaware basketball game was quite good too ... so was the game with a bunch of gangs in New York city ...
I captured all the footage myself and it was taking far too long when I got into a game, think I played buggy boy for over half hour for a minutes footage😂imagine how long I would’ve been playing moonstone for to get there lol
Yeah tv sports basketball was great back in the day, not sure it’s aged great though
Thanks for watching
This is easily the best Amiga top 25 on UA-cam. The Amiga was a godsend
Thanks for watching buddy👍
There was only ever one choice for the top spot and you got it right. Good lad. 👍🏻
Haha couldn’t be anything else
Update
It's an MCA Star Cursor
Robert I’ve always used Power Play Cruisers...I have every variant, they came in 6 different designs...I like them because you can adjust the tension of the stick.
I know that monster joysticks make a new 2 button stick with arcade parts, which is useful for games that uses the space bar as the 2nd button as that’s mapped to the stick so no more leaning over...
Over popular joysticks are zip sticks and competition pros
The Suzo Arcade joysticks of course, they are awesome!
The red and black Competition Pro? I still have one.
Some great choices there, and some dubious ones 👍
Nice selection mate
this was the golden age of pure gaming in my book
Yeah loved it!
Golden Axe yep.
One word:
*Turrican*.
Seriously. I LOVE the Turrican series! The music is beyond epic!
Growing Perspective don't worry. I won't buy that sh*t :)
Growing Perspective thanks. :)
And if you want a good system to mod. Get an SNES Classic.
Growing Perspective I feel sorry for your loss. It's a good mini console. No doubt. But some games are missing. Like Phalanx. Super Turrican 1&2. Earthworm Jim 1&2. Chrono Trigger.
Growing Perspective yeah. That's annoying. At least I have an emulator.
Sony Sucks yeah turrican is a classic!! Could’ve easily had all 3 on here
Thank-you for the memories! You might have just pushed me over the edge on buying a second hand Amiga and restarting the collection! Your collection of original boxes games is amazing. Have you kept this up from back in the day or did you get back into starting up your collection later in life?
Yeah pick one up! They’re cheap enough if you look around...I’ve still got all my disks from back in the day, I had around 50 boxed games then but I threw the boxes away stupidly as they were taking up too much room under my bed🙄
Luckily I got back into it around 2004 and was picking games up from eBay for pennies
@@Sinisteve I'm having a great time watching all your content. Have you ever considered doing a bit of a "tips and tricks" video for anyone thinking of jumping into starting there own retro collection?
James Rizzo theres plenty of videos for that, I’m very approachable, if there’s anything you need to know just ask👍
Great list, ever play Hired Guns?
Was one of the first games you could play 4 player split screen death matches way before Doom/Goldeneye/Quake.
It goes for big bucks now, that's if you can find it lol. Just realised Super Frog is Mr Logo ha ha ha
Burntoutculture never heard of Persian Gulf Inferno...I’ll check it out on whdload later...
When capturing all the footage I was playing the games for much longer than needed haha, I was on Buggy Boy for nearly an hour for that minute clip😂
Persian gulf inferno was amazing.. I loved it and hired guns (Only game dad let me install to the Hdd)
I loved pinball games on the Amiga. Haven't played that 'genre' in years; I think I'll look a game up for a blast from the past.
AMIGA was my first love...
Strider CZ glad to hear it, favourite game?
@@Sinisteve GODS (finished at least fifty times :D) and Black Crypt
A fantastic collection of great games.

James Wilson thanks for watching matey👍
Exellent games!Amiga graphics are awesome 😁
Don’t forget the audio😉
Thanks for watching buddy👍
Brilliant video, some great choices a few I didn't agree with, a lot I did but with the Amiga there are so many classics to choose from it's impossible for two people to choose the same.
I want to fire the Amiga up now 😍
David retro games played badly Birdsall yeah it has a ridiculously large library, I was trying to rate them without my nostalgia glasses...
What games would’ve made your list then David?
@@Sinisteve definitely wings, lotus 2, space crusade, megalomania and Simon the sorcerer.
Hard to know what to remove though 😆
David retro games played badly Birdsall I’ve really got to try wings again, I just couldn’t gel with it
@@davidretrogamesplayedbadly3533 Oh Man , Wings , that was the game !!, and the Lotus Series best of amiga!!
Kick Off 1 and 2. Altered Beast. IK+. Defender of the Crown. Onslaught. Spherical. Speedball 2. Arkanoid 1 and 2. Lemmings...I could go on forever... Love your video.
Oh I nearly forgot James Pond!
Thanks for watching dude👍
Never heard of Spherical, I’ll check it out
Aaah that Moonstone on number 15!! I am now 40 and clearly remember the game I managed to kill the dragon and got that sword! Brilliant game!
Quality game, I never had an original copy growing up and I’ll always remember searching for one in the early 2000s, baring in mind I was picking Amiga games up for next to nothing Moonstone was around £50-£80! I remember getting one for £40 and upgrading it a few times, now it fetches £200+
Iconic game
SWOS, Lemmings, Rainbow Islands, Rod-Land, Buggy Boy - lots of my favourites here. The Amiga had such a vast, varied catalogue across so many years that 25 is nowhere near enough. I could easily choose 25 other games that I loved (especially strategy games), and someone else could probably suggest another 25 that they loved. Not that there wasn't lots of crud as well, of course.
Flashback, Another World , Theme Park and Settlers missing!
sviru007 and The Secret of Monkey Island!! 🐵🌴❤️
I think on my list I'd also of had shuffle puc cafe, star ray, blues brothers, back to the future and robocod... maybe zool as well
Anthony George robocod nearly made it but for some reason I played it more on the game gear
Thanks for this much appreciated travel back in time.
Ha no probs dude
lemmings, batman, turrican and rodland. one of my favorites was flimbos quest.
I’ll have to check out flimbos quest, heard of it but never played it
To get mad, lemmings is the perfect game.
Nice to see another fan of Moonstone 👍
Yeah love a bit of moonstone, think it took me around a year to remember what it was called around 2004 and even then it was quite an expensive game, baring in mind I was getting Amiga games for hardly anything moonstone cost me around £40
Very nice list! I was never a sports fan, so I didn't really play swos. Other that, looks pretty much like my childhood! Very nice indeed!
Thanks for watching buddy👍
Nice list, was miss monkey Island series, day of tentacle, shadow dancer, street fighter 2, mortal kombat, John Barnes football, North & South.
Had a chuckle ah the memories, super frog was one of my all time faves.
Yeah same here, great game
Thanks for watching
I love it Amiga, its my favorite PC of 90s decades.
I bought the Amstrad CPC, but my neighbor has the Amiga and was wonderful years 😍😍😍
My best mate had a CPC with an awful green monitor back in the day...when we got an Amiga we couldn’t get rid of him haha
well watching this has reminded me of so many childhood games i acutally forgot about ...!
