Insanity isn't too bad. My first go was as a soldier and it was relatively easy. As a Vanguard though it's more of a mixed bag. It's dog water on ME1, hit or miss in ME2, but absolutely busted in ME3. As for Kaiden, true. I almost always pick Ashley. She may have a grating personality sometimes. But at least she has one.
