@ChimezirimOnwumere-tj8ggexactly, zizi is like 1-2 thats what they say if they like siblings. Its also what you say to future siblings when youre still pregnant so they start having positive associations with their future sibling. You know itll be true as well cause i can already imagine the talks of mom saying that your sister will be by your side for ever etc.

@@mildredlockhart9085 Naturally if a mom is mindful enough to do these things, she will repeat them. Even if you feel it’s an act, it still has a positive impact on Zizi and the relationship with her sister. It’s also likely to be repeated if just for “show” or even Zizi will start to automatically start to or ask to help in other situations. Still a win/win situation.
And of course she will not be able to help at every single moment or situation. Sometimes there’s places to be and things have to get done in a timely manner, but there will always be other days and opportunities where time can be taken to do things slower.

You 2 are beautiful,’ or ‘Oh your baby is beautiful. And _you_ (gasp) what a lovely dress. Don’t you look pretty today.’ I remember the look of longing on my step daughter’s face when people would admire her baby brother, even though she was super proud.’ They will get it when they are older, but it’s crushing to their little hearts to be ignored.

It's funny that I would stumble across this comment after thinking the same thing. I was thinking that due to watching another vlog of a child acting that very same way after the mother gave birth to a younger sibling. I was so disappointed that the mother did not talk to the older child.
Not teaching one's children manners and respect sets children up for disaster, emotional issues, mental issues, and depression when they enter this cruel world, starting with school. I do support commenters who point it out that the older child is rude, disrespectful, and has no manners.
However, I do not agree with blaming the child. Children are products of their environment and those who influence them. I carefully chose my words so that I did not expose the vlogger as I love his/her videos, and I do not like setting people up to be attacked and bullied.
Instead, I pray for them. I did not have social media when I was pregnant and raising my child, but I did get good advice from my mother, grandparents, my elders, friends who had children, my daughter's doctors, and my Psychology professors whose children were adults.
I thank GOD for those who gave me advice, too. By the time my daughter was in middle school, I had no problems with her all the way through high school and college.

If I did not have the internet or social media, I would not have learned as much as I do now. I wish even with the internet and online community, I wish I had a community offline like you did. In the US everything is hyper individualistic and hyper independent. Interdependence and a solid community is frowned upon and even taken away. I just wish I had even older adults to look up to too. I'm the oldest and I have to be an even older adult to the youngers, pass wisdom and skills I picked up alone from online. But I don't have someone like that for me and I hope I make it better for them. If you ask about parents, well...they were either not present or did not know how to raise children, let alone four.

The best thing my mom did when my brothers were born was to involve me in the caretaking. Us eldest girls often complain how we were kind of another parent, but honestly, if it's done right, it's the best thing you can do. I love my little brothers dearly and didn't feel "dethroned".

I grew up involved in caring for my little cousins and was never treated as a parent. But my aunt and uncle taught me how to care for babies/kids as they got older whenever I asked if I could help rather than shoving me away because it would have been faster. Now I’m a teacher and totally a nerd about childhood development.

If this was a real moment then how would she do that while not having any cuts in their conversation. No she told her daughter to go look sad in the corner for her video. If this moment was genuine. Why is there so many cuts ? Why is your daughter looking at you like she wants a confirmation that you're ready to film her. And why is there a camera perfectly pointing at Zizi in the spot she is hiding ? Like, would this moment be this real, unexpected and vulnerable if there was a camera pointing at you AND your daughter while you're taking care of your baby 😂?
I just got out of the fantazy recently. Idk if either the content are so obviously scripted lately, or if i was just blind all this time to miss such obvious details.

They are exploiting their kids for views and money just like every other family channel. And unfortunately UA-cam allows it, and people enjoy it. Just watched an exposed video of this mom getting real mean with her little daughter because her daughter didn’t want to be on camera. I’ve seen videos of moms making their kids cry for thumbnails, and let’s not forget the mother who was arrested for child abuse off this site. UA-cam will continue to support this content as long as their pockets are being filled. They don’t care about the child abuse.
