What I noticed was the Creative concept of a river parade, the humorous depiction of the French Revolution and it slogans, The Emotional performance of Imagine in dark stillness, the knight on horse charging through the Seine to bring in peace and unity, The stunning Laser show, the concise powerful speeches, Recognising the ROC and the first ever floating Olympic Flame together with Celine's stellar performance. I didn't see anything but Beuaty, Creativity and Unity at its core which was came together by inter connecting the entire Paris Metropolis through the non-stadium concept. For someone to see a few men in dresses and be disgusted speak a lot of volume for the nature of their mind compared to one that looks past it and appreciates the creativity and celebration of thd Olympic Spirit which France hailed.
To understand the genius of this show, you have to watch the opening of the Beijing Olympics. Paris, with its history and spirit of freedom, became an arena for love and pluralism, while in Beijing we were shown a soulless, obedient humanoid machine.
