loving the new track, but today i noticed that most valiant hearts songs use the same chord progression (two notes down from root note, one note down from root note, root note. repeat) still love it tho. melodies are sick as always🖤
I think there's quite a few songs on this album that break away from that chord progression, which should be interesting to hear. That's probably the case since we wanted this album to feel cohesive with the past two, yet distinct, so intentionally similar chord progressions help with that I guess :) The new stuff we've been writing for after Yonder definitely has different chord progressions and feeling to it compared to these three albums. Appreciate you 🧡

At least they're trying something new with the progressive phc scene. The rapping might seem eh at first but it really grows on you. It also fits the theme and vibe of the song. I'd say let it grow on you
