Wow, those guns on the deck are... _incredibly_ out of scale with the size of the ship. Even without considering the massive scaling problem with the canon ship sizes. Yeah, they're coil guns in canon, but in canon relative to the ship they're sending out like, eighteen inch shells or bigger.
every time i see the grapple work in this game my head just goes "spartan chief, spartan chief, radioactive spartan blood" to the tune of the 90s spiderman cartoon
I found the first one, then searched the area before finding the other two. But I had already cleared the base so it was pretty much useless lol. I at least plan on using it during my second play through on legendary though.
Lots of things we used to describe as "glitches" like the invisible staircase in Halo 2 or the scarab gun were actually intentionally put in the game for players to hopefully find. So they technically are easter eggs. No point mincing words tho. I will say this easter egg/glitch is way easier to complete than most other old glitches/easter eggs
By the way, you don’t have to activate the cannon in order to grab the Scorpion gun. I use the scorpion gun in my heroic save, only problem is, if you swap it for something else it is gone for good. Laos, you can only grab the scorpion gun during the outpost Tremonius mission, after that it is no longer there
After I won the first time all the way through the campaign I restarted after I seen this in another video and I have been playing the whole game since with that Cannon LOL it makes really fast work of any boss you come up against. I'm going to play till the end of the game using it. + I've been picking up the skulls this time to

I saw it and said “hmm wonder if you can stand here” I activated it and didn’t see any others, if anyone knows what it does if you find the rest (I’m guessing you also have to find three) I would appreciate it
Orbital strike is Easter egg but not the gun it's self it's game engine fault as for what I can understand every gun need to spawn somewhere so that the player can use it in this instance scorpion gun, so what devs did was that they have forgotten to make it unpickable

The gun doesn't let you mantle or melee either. It has you in a carrying your gun pose without a visible weapon shown. Plus you cannot kill yourself with the shots too. Unless you go to nearby fusion coils or explosives then yes, you can kill yourself with it. Also its pretty funny in cutscenes too.
Guys can someone help me please? I love Halo I have played them all. I bought a gamer portable and brought the Xbox Game Pass, and I installed all the Halo. But I finished Infinite last week on Normal and started another on Legendary. When I opened that big gate and got out, I went right back there to activate the first button. When going to the second inside the ship, I died twice but I got there and pressed the second button. I went with the harpoon attached to the outside of the ship to the cannons button and activated the third one, but the problem is that at the top of the cannon, the "prompt" to pick up the Cannon weapon did NOT appear. I did restart mission, did it all over again without dying and still the same. NOTHING APPEARS TO CATCH THE CANNON WEAPON. I still haven't closed the base for myself so as not to record the game with the base already mine but without the Cannon weapon. I repeat the mission and DO NOT APPEAR IN IT. Can anyone tell me how do i do it now? I don't have much time because I work outside my country. That's why I really want to grab this Cannon weapon to have the same pleasure as you blowing up the Boss's faster. I really appreciate your help...
This thing is stupidly overpowered and it’s hilarious, as long as you don’t accidentally drop it by grabbing another weapon you can keep it through the entire game. Not to mention that it can one shot every single non boss enemy and only takes a few hits to kill bosses and the like. The only downside is that it can only be fired when jumping most of the time due to the projectile’s massive hitbox hitting the ground
Yes tbh it's a must on LASO can't throw grenades with it but I find having an energy sword(duelist is better) in the other hand for shield is so far the best way to go it's only problem is you have to usually jump before you shoot because it comes from the feet
Kind of cheating though, but it doesn't block achievements and they also forgot to turn them off when you use beneficial skulls (like Bandana) so I guess it doesn't matter. Achievements are for yourself anyways. If getting it this way makes you proud, then by all means. Socially, it makes them worthless when everybody knows one can cheat to get them.

The scorpion gun can only be picked up while you are still in the mission. The location is part of the open world, but you can no longer access it after you leave the mission. It is most obviously not a bug.

You don’t need to push the buttons to pick up the gun, the buttons only call in the orbital strike.
In an alternative universe : If you push the 3 hidden buttons you can call an orbital strike

I found this gun on accident during my first play-through.Which is always on Legendary. This gun was my primary gun the whole way through.

So the cannon is bugged to hell, either due to it being balanced or left in. You should still be able to swap to your secondary.

Definitely, it has infinite ammo and has a blast radius so I think it's a very viable option.

Yes it has infinite ammo. You can’t switch weapons or pick up another weapon, otherwise it disappears

Easter Eggs are Intentional - This is a bug or uniontentional effect of that area.
