Honestly, scales are better. Change my mind. Why is that a challenge? Because scales are easily biologically possible, easy to clean, require very little upkeep, and provide protection. Fur looks good and feels nice. The downsides are mud, bugs, and other dirty fur, what it takes to clean it, what it takes to dry it, it doesnt provide a lot of protection, and it will DEFINITELY cause overheating problems. So yeah. Scales are better than fur. Change my mind. Thats a challenge.
Overheating problems by fur can be circumvented with dressing down, hydration, and biologically compatible coolant. Heck, even without coolant there are other ways, for example fennec foxes ears are massive heat sinks specifically for cooling the critter down.
I guess you could- in theory- make some like robot thing and then have some Grevious-style meat bag for your organs. I know that canonically they are born like that with nanites, but a grievous-esque fursuit would be fine with me
As much as I liked the Symbiote method for roleplay in my high school days, realistically it'd be incredibly impractical due to the aforementioned storage space issues alone, not to mention the biochemical maintenance costs, the power cost of a hemoodialysis machine running 24/7, maintaining it's support hardware and keeping remote track of it's health so it doesn't die while you're out, and other related difficulties (good luck getting biosupport plasm or your own blood out of your carpeted closet in the case of an accident or mechanical failure). Truthfully, this'd only be feasible for someone with hired help and sizable wealth. Even then, that's just assuming it's 100% living symbiote. Mechanical parts and cybernetics, much like a car, would require additional maintenance over time no matter what, even with it sitting in your closet unused. No, truth be told the only way transhumanism will move forward sustainably and safely in the long term is gene modding. Cybernetic mechanics will wear down in a matter of a year at best as an unavoidable matter of physics (solid state cybernetics are reasonably doable however), bioplasty has a much higher chance of rejection than gene-level modification and can lead to new methods of viral spread, and Praxis Symbiotes are just too expensive to maintain long-term and create too many additional undue dangers (imagine the damage a little static on the translation interface could do to your nervous system, YIKES).
Wow. You are so wrong in so many ways. First, you can't remove a symbiote from you as it LIVES in you. A removeable organic fursuit would not really be a symbiote. So that stuff would NOT be an issue. We just need to figure out how to imbue the symbiote with the regenerative features of certain lizards. Then you can simply remove the parts and put the symbiote into stasis when you want to transform back. It would also mean that you would be less likely to suffer permanent damage of limbs and organs. The alternative would be nanotech "symbiotes" that can replicate the necessary tissues using your own body as raw material. That might require a greater intake of food, but that is hardly a long term problem as it would be like when an actor needs to put on weight for a part. As long as you don't "carbo load" too often, you should be ok. Plus, the food would be for the symbiote to create your organs. FYI, ALL animals have symbiotes in them already. The digestive system RELIES ON the symbiotic relationship with bacteria. Mitochondria make cells function. Cybernetics do NOT fail after a year. In fact, most modern prosthetics are functional cybernetics as they are often (at higher price points) directly connected to the nervous system for better patient usage. Again, nanotech would make maintenance of biomechanical parts laughably simple. Nanomachines can repair and replace any worn out parts without the "wearer" needing to do anything. How exactly would solid state cybernetics work? Kinda hard to make a solid state motor, now isn't it?
@@protoborg cool also with Nano machine based systems it also means it could partially reroute and modify the plumbing on your lower body so that you don't have to worry about figuring out how to use the bathroom while wearing the suit unlike with normal fursuits
Hmm,that@@protoborg guy is indeed, correct, after all,it's a symbiote, some kind of venom thing, but, can it be just like venom, like, living inside you without people seeing and then manifest when the user wants(and partially if asked, like venom(again))?also, how do you treat your suit?like a pet?maybe
Lol I and MANY others have actually looked into things like this. Only it wouldn't be a suite. It would be straight up all out your flesh and blood. This is what people freak out about. Others are wondering if it can be done safely. So far yes to a point. It's mind numbingly painful and drown out over a lifetime that most likely will not see an end and as always. There's extremely likely going to be complications as is with everything these days. I can go on but I don't have enough time. Bills to pay and new ways to learn how we are so screwed by our government. YEAH!!!🥳🥳😑 Good luck and have what fun that they let you have.
What if we grow an anthropomorphic animal from the womb like we do with cloned animals and use DNA from animal and humans and then we just transfer your consciousness into the body so that we don’t need cybernetic and then if you want to go back to being a human you can just transfer your consciousness back into your human body. Could that work?
@@foxhound2-668 I was just about to say that given the whole transferring your Consciousness thing sounds a lot like the Avatar system from the movie of the same name
@@cartoonkeeper yeah that would solve stuff like paralysis or missing limbs in theory of course because it would probably take some training to get them used to having functionable limbs again
@@matthewboire6843 it is just make sure you watch the right one start with the first one since way of water is coming out soon you want to watch the one with the blue cat people not The Last Airbender live action that one sucks
@@thefoxguy well again people are already starting to figure out ways of extracting power from the human body either through the blood or through sweat or just through body heat from your own metabolism so I'm pretty sure eventually we will be able to figure out how to allow biological things to power Tech plus the life support mannequin which would be keeping the biological part alive would also probably be able to charge batteries
This might maybe be a reality by the year 2070 but by that point many of us would be elderly individuals while people born right now would be very close to their 50s! :)
One thing that I can think of that might be a little more ethical (but not by much) is VR, have the user have implanted sensors and implanted haptic feedback, then the suit be a robot piloted by the user with ai assistance...
Yeah it also would make things a bit easier when it comes to going to the bathroom while wearing the suit especially since it would be able to continue the plumbing down there to the exterior
I will simply never be satisfied with whatever we mere humans come up with in terms of Transhumanism. Whatever iterations of humanity we have in the future will come up with bigger dreams than what we can conceive up and they should be cased too.
This begs the question: could we develope an irl version of a protogen? Grow an animal from an embryo (or a willing human), give it enhanced mechanical limb prosthetics to improve abilities, and give it simulations to teach it how to funtion.
you forgot the benefits for trans folk as sometimes a gender swap would be required for some sonas there are many furs who have sonas who differ in their assigned gender
Not sure who the reply is in here since for some reason I can't see it but that definitely is interesting also there's the reconfiguration of the plumbing down below so that you don't have to worry about figuring out how you're going to use the bathroom while wearing the suit
@@foxhound2-668 yeah that would definitely be useful since furries already know the struggle of trying to figure out how to use the bathroom when you're wearing your fursuit
Maybe a normal thing in the future might be for fully robotic humans to permanently look like their anthro OCs if they had new robotic bodies based on their anthro OCs built and then had their minds digitally recreated in the new bodies! It still might be a solution for individuals who are dying from age related problems that cannot be treated.
Hmm I'd go full force into just changing my genes. once I'm my fursona. Since. ..can't go back to being human anyways. (I'm 100% ok with that) Then I'd use a symbiote suit to be even more powerful. Muahah. 🤣😈
What about we used something more like the Avatar movie, we would not need to *enter* the fursuit, it would be ready for you to link your brain into it!!
I just found your channel and I'm going to watch the others next subscriped LoL. But before I watch the others and if you already got to it... I've been playing a game called No More Future here recently and I love the sci fi of it. It's on the topic of full synthetics, transfer of ones mind, body, soul, and spirit into a new vessel entirely.... very interesting topic LoL. And yes it is a furry game. XD they could easily make one heck of a novel, movie, and TV show out of it and they're still making it.
I mean this would be MUCH easier to do than gene editing or vat-grown implants and the like. And CONSIDERABLY SAFER, I can't imagine the sheer amount of "oopsies" that we would see if we did genemoding trials plus I am sure Musk's brain implant company is going to crash and burn after their human trials verify how invasive and deadly his methods are (Neuralink has competitors than look like they have better prospects but still...). But Symbiote fursuits sounds relatively saner. I'm down. if I had say I don't know tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars for something like this, even IF the tech exists.

I guess you could- in theory- make some like robot thing and then have some Grevious-style meat bag for your organs. I know that canonically they are born like that with nanites, but a grievous-esque fursuit would be fine with me
I was watching videos explaining plane crashes. How did I get here?
Here for it
As much as I liked the Symbiote method for roleplay in my high school days, realistically it'd be incredibly impractical due to the aforementioned storage space issues alone, not to mention the biochemical maintenance costs, the power cost of a hemoodialysis machine running 24/7, maintaining it's support hardware and keeping remote track of it's health so it doesn't die while you're out, and other related difficulties (good luck getting biosupport plasm or your own blood out of your carpeted closet in the case of an accident or mechanical failure).
Instead of womb grown we could grow them like the avatars from avatar
@@foxhound2-668 I was just about to say that given the whole transferring your Consciousness thing sounds a lot like the Avatar system from the movie of the same name
@@cartoonkeeper yeah that would solve stuff like paralysis or missing limbs in theory of course because it would probably take some training to get them used to having functionable limbs again
@@cartoonkeeper I have not watched avatar and now I want to, is it good?
@@matthewboire6843 it is just make sure you watch the right one start with the first one since way of water is coming out soon you want to watch the one with the blue cat people not The Last Airbender live action that one sucks
Por fin, solo falta dónde conseguir una metralleta
I hope for avatar full dive technology one day 😝
if we combine living and cyborg, we really need to find a way how to power the cyber parts using blood?
I don't wanna charge it or myself. LOL
I might not be here for living furry suits but it makes me happy to know that some Time in the future i Will happen
OH GOD
THE UA-cam RECOMMENDATIONS KNOW
cd projekt red is taking notes for cyberpunk rn
3:59 Tis true.
This might maybe be a reality by the year 2070 but by that point many of us would be elderly individuals while people born right now would be very close to their 50s! :)
I plan on creating a Serum to turn my furry brethern into their anthropomorphic form
IM SO HAPPY THAT IM 11 YEAR OLD AND IM GOING TO SEE IT HAPPEN!
Fun fact: Im brazilian so if my english is bad sorry
E eu concordo pra cacete menor(também do Brasil)
I'm think this is pretty good future,
And I'm think i will do it one day!
(24/12/22)
I will come back here ;)
One thing that I can think of that might be a little more ethical (but not by much) is VR, have the user have implanted sensors and implanted haptic feedback, then the suit be a robot piloted by the user with ai assistance...
Well, there are people that would do this technique, and there are the unethical ones like me that would use the shown method
Ethics slows down progress, we must cast it aside and push these technologies to the finish line.
Reject humanity
Join protogen
I love your stuff :3
You guys think this is possible in around 20-30 years? then i would be between 30 and 40. Which I think is a good age for it.
Something this advanced might be ready in about 2-3...hundred years.

This guy reminds me so much of myself.
i cant wait! ied love to be able to swap my genders by will like some fogs or fish lmao
Only Time will tell.
I already have a port for casual tail wearing lol
I need this desperatelyyy
There is two version of the furry fandom.
1.) Furry Fandom LGBT
2.) Furry Fandom Non-LGBT

Roll credits.
you forgot the benefits for trans folk as sometimes a gender swap would be required for some sonas there are many furs who have sonas who differ in their assigned gender
If we had the tech to convert someone to a antropromorphized form i'm sure we could develop some tech that can help people Change their gender
Not sure who the reply is in here since for some reason I can't see it but that definitely is interesting also there's the reconfiguration of the plumbing down below so that you don't have to worry about figuring out how you're going to use the bathroom while wearing the suit
@@cartoonkeeper I'll figure that out as i continue the research
@@foxhound2-668 yeah that would definitely be useful since furries already know the struggle of trying to figure out how to use the bathroom when you're wearing your fursuit
I wanna have my dragon bod, avatar style)))
With anti fur’s being around, we might be able to reenact bna
If we can do this I’d love to be my fursona and finally have a tail
me on my way to force feed my homies feline mutagen
I find what you're explaining interesting but do you put on those pink gloves on for each video?
Maybe a normal thing in the future might be for fully robotic humans to permanently look like their anthro OCs if they had new robotic bodies based on their anthro OCs built and then had their minds digitally recreated in the new bodies! It still might be a solution for individuals who are dying from age related problems that cannot be treated.
that makes sense
"This will have to be carefully studied over a long time"
I mean is there really an ethics problem if I do it to myself voluntarily?
This was literally my dream as a young-fur lol! so exciting! but also kinda scary!
Have no fear, we must push this through, while also putting safety solutions so everything goes seamless.
Well, I guess I missed parts 2 and 3... Is the link in the description? no? okay that's fine.
You have an amazing beard
Hmm
I'd go full force into just changing my genes. once I'm my fursona. Since. ..can't go back to being human anyways. (I'm 100% ok with that)
Then I'd use a symbiote suit to be even more powerful. Muahah. 🤣😈

Now what if im a protogen………..
What about we used something more like the Avatar movie, we would not need to *enter* the fursuit, it would be ready for you to link your brain into it!!
I be the third.
I'm down. if I had say I don't know tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars for something like this, even IF the tech exists.
goo transfur!
