I'm gonna be honest - I messed up the thumbnail and had to re-upload 🥲 Should be all fixed now, so please share if you know someone who will want to play this on Global. Appreciate the support!
So glad you covered GS/Wand. I was running it and had a blast buffing and keeping the team up in tough fights and also doing debuffs and charge damage but I started feeling bad taking away a full dps slot.
@@Darth0308 I'm still curious to see once someone figures out how to play GS/Wand really well and in right situations.. I think there's some interesting potential in medium-scale, like boonstone/riftstone
@@Rekko01 haha what type of content? Start uploading some videos of it, if you pop off with it, people are gonna share it around - not many good SNS xbow out there! :D
Good video. I liked the explanations of each combo. Some of them serve a very niche role but that just means you don't want en entire guild full of them. I do believe ppl are sleeping on some builds though ;)
If we get and can keep a lot of players on Global, there's gonna be a lot of people trying to cook "off-meta" and some are bound to succeed. I'm excited! :D
On the meta, you hit on the nail. On the "doesn't fit well" combo's. I think the creativity was not there. Each of these class combo's has their specific use. I've rerolled almost every combo and tested more than I'd like to admit. I'll give an example. The worst combo in the game, sns + xbow. I have a theory craft for you to test. Can you abuse the passive of "spectrum of agony" and force players to attack you? Though it's hard to land the first taunt due to the fast place. It should make an awesome counter for your group being jumped on. Taunt + merciless barrage and watch as a no cap group gets forced to attack you instead for what should be 20+ secs. This combo is the only thing I haven't tested but the creativity is there. If you do test this, please let me know the results. I have plenty more idea's.
What is cool about TnL is that with Skill Expressions every build can have something special like SNS Xbow! I think your example works well on paper and PVE, but in PVP against a good team more questions come up in my mind: 1. Everyone plays spread to avoid Sleep Bomb etc. - your taunt can only catch a limited amount of ppl, 2. When you are spinning you cannot block, so you are at risk to be CC'd/burned by mages/etc.. I like your creativity, but players need knowledge, experience and testing to succeed in what you are suggesting and I need to consider New Players also when I'm giving my advice
@@crazy-trick I do love the reply. There were definitely things I didn't take into consideration. Though I think my original comment still stands in regards to using classes for their personal perks, regardless if they are meta or not. If we all went by your video. There would only be the meta. Which I think would fundamentally destroy the number one thing I love about this game, diversity. Which I think this game has a ton of. There's not just a single way to play the same weapon types. I've got a few builds up my sleeves that I will not be making public. Though I sent one your way, which was theory crafted and not tested. I hate to assume but based on the time stamp, you either tested it really quickly or not at all. Which makes your reply a bit.....diminished. I know sns/xbow is not meta, 100% with ya! I just think you haven't put the time in for the little guys.
@@asurakey yeah your original point still stands, wasn't trying to argue it - just shared my thoughts. I did not have time to test it since your comment, but I did chat with www.twitch.tv/LittleFattyGG about it since I was watching him last night. He also has a clip of extending the taunt on mobs past what looks like 13 seconds on the debuff bar, before they die. In case you've not heard of him, I recommend checking out his stream for anything SNS or Leveling related
@@crazy-trick Ya no worries. I think I've watched a few of LittleFattyGG's video's. I love the content with the exception of the, "choose your class" video's. They always seem to say there's only one way to play weapon types. Which as you know, I defend quite heartedly lol. As for taunt, ya that's about the average range for a normal combo w/o mb. That'd be like 8-9 secs against players and if used mainly as a counter, you could stop other players from getting melted and punish them, quite badly too. Another combo is chain + taunt. I wonder, can you spread other people's weaknesses? There's so much testing and fun stuff to try out. It's killing me lol. Anywho, thanks for hearing me out!
@asurakey Did you try bow/xbow? On paper sounds like the same glass cannon as bow staff, but with more single target damage and with much much more long-term dps because of lower cooldowns. I didn't play it enough to say it's playable for sure, but 3 strafings with mortal mark and mother nature just melts people, and then you also have 3 quick fires.
Firstly congratulations, a hug from Brazil Second, do you think GS/WAND will ever be really useful in Large PVP? I wanted to do this build, but I'm sure I'll be looked at badly by the guilds
thank you, so kind! I think GS Wand has some untapped potential.. so it might have good use in Large PVP one day! This game is quickly changing - Skill Expressions are pretty new and they changed the game a lot. Artifacts are still coming, Class-skills are still coming, Class-specific-guardians are still coming - I think GS Wand can become something interesting in the future. Right now I would not recommend using it as main build unless you absolutely know the game in-and-out! Definitely not recommended for your "first" class - if you want to join competitive teams you will have to prove your worth as GS Wand and it will be hard..
I'll consider something like this, but a few hurdles come to mind: Combos can vary based on game stage - people with Tier2 weapons in Korea can have different combos from what we will have in global with T1 gear. Also a lot depends on build and playstyle - are you a GS Dagger that hunts single enemies or jumps into big clumps to Stun and AOE Bomb. 21 classes, that's at least 40+ possible useful combos O_O www.twitch.tv/crazytrick might be the best place to showcase it, when I'm back to streaming regularly
Many options! Ranged or Melee? Bow Dagger is very intuitive. Staff Wand is an easy class to start with. Greatsword Dagger if you want to be melee, SNS Greatsword if you want to learn the game as a tank.
@@crazy-trick I’m leaning toward tanking with sword n shield/wand but I heard in other videos it was slower to level but I love tanking in games and if coupled with wand it makes you unkillable? I’m a happy camper 😊
@@CloudySodaSounds yeah it makes you super tanky and hard to kill. It is not hard to level, SNS Wand will be a bit slower but no problem. It was harder before they introduced Skill Expressions, so if the videos you are mentioning are 2+ months old, the levelling is easier now.
I would say Greatsword Dagger, but you ideally want 2 armor sets if you want to beat EVERY opponent. One set to fight against Melee players and a separate one to fight Ranged+Magic.
Depends - are you a new player or are you a veteran that tried many other combinations and want to experiment? For New Player I rate it low (check my PVP Tier List) - its a hard synergy and there are much more straightforward useful builds. For people that know the game well, I think you can cook something special on GS Wand and if you can prove you can make it work - good army should have a space for you.
The way I see this p2w fiasco is.. half of the classes are bellow average so they are useless, the other half are overplayed cuz that's the meta.... Just like the same mistakes they did in L2...
Hm.. honestly, I can't agree with your stand on bow/dagger. If you're pretty good and use your kit properly, you can always go 1v2-4 and still come out ahead. But everything else was pretty decent and well put.
thanks! Bow Dagger can definitely delete enemies in large scale, but going actual Solo versus 3 players of equal skill and gear - you cant consistently come out ahead. Unless you are fighting dagger players that don't know what they are doing and keep triggering your shield all the time :D
@@crazy-trickIn a real scenario, as the solo player, you'll pick fights that suit you. I'd never pick a fight 1v3 in an equal fight. I'm playing dagger for reason-never fight fair. 😀 but sure, I get your point.
