Travel to Madeline Island in the Apostle Islands chain of islands. Board a ferry boat for a 25-30min. boat ride to the Island. Take your car or go as a passenger. Once on the Island, visit the Museum, Stockade and Grounds, Walkway Gallery, Old Jail, the American Fur Company Building, Old Sailor's home, Pioneer Barn, etc., for a step back in history.
