I leave fall up and combine the Halloween. Then when it’s over, I put the Halloween away and leave out the fall,until I decorate for Christmas .

It looks so adorable. I don’t decorate for Halloween. I just decorate for fall and leave it up thru thanksgiving.
I keep fall decor up until Thanksgiving, but I try to have my Christmas tree up before Thanksgiving.
I do both fall and Halloween at once. In September. Then after Halloween I strip away the spooky and fill in the gaps with Fall decor until... Black Friday when I decorate for Christmas. That's just what my grandma always did. So I've continued it.

I love all the pillows on the couch! 👻 I go straight to Christmas decor right after Halloween! I just love Christmas decorations I can’t help it!🤦🏻♀️😬 so we celebrate thanksgiving with Christmas decorations and we’re ok with that, it’s more festive that way!😊
Everything looks so cute! A little tip from a mom of grown kids; pick several items to use every year. When they have their own home & family let them choose a favorite or two to take with them. It works for all seasons.
We live in a senior apt with a galley-size kitchen. I use the same items for Halloween over & over. The front door has a Halloween wreath, & the small table out there has a glittery pumpkin sitting atop fall leaves. A purple bell spider is perched on top of the pumpkin. That will stay there through-out Thanksgiving. The wreath will be changed out on Nov.1st for a simple fall wreath that will serve through Thanksgiving. After Thanksgiving weekend, then the Christmas wreath goes up, and various other items inside & out. I haven't purchased anything new in years, as I am very well-pleased with what we already have. Always interesting to see what you do.
I add Halloween to my fall stuff, my kids are little but old enough to not like spooky stuff so it’s more cute/cozy. I start Christmas 11/1 😂 that’s just what makes me happy 🤷♀️.
I always come back to fall for thanksgiving and then decorate after Christmas. 💕
I used to decorate for fall and Halloween at the same time but now that my kids have moved out I just decorate for fall then go tight into Christmas.
I like the decor you picked up. You did a nice job of decorating without it being cluttered and looking like a gift shop. Your home looks cozy.
After Halloween, I do like to go back into autumn or everyday decor. I really enjoy my tradition of putting up Christmas decor the day after Thanksgiving while most people are out shopping and stuff. The morning after Thanksgiving, I like to watch a Christmas movie while I have my morning coffee and maybe a slice of pie if there's any left from the night before to get into the Christmas spirit. After that, I put on my favorite Christmas music or a Christmas station on pandora or Iheart radio, and that's when I start cleaning and decorating for Christmas. This holiday tradition gets me into the festive spirit so much.

I do fall starting sept 1. Halloween indoor and out starting 10/1. Back to fall for thanksgiving. The day after thanksgiving is Christmas all the way.

Great job. I think my favorite area of Halloween decor is the TV console. Just the right amount of variety plus the web-like runner pulls it all together.
I too just add the Halloween decorations with my fall and after Halloween, I just put away my Halloween decorations and leave the fall/thanksgiving decorations out

I just love the way you swap equivalent items and have started doing the same because of you. It makes things to easy. I even went extra and created an excel spreadsheet of holidays and items.

Love the decor and all your shopping videos. I live overseas and they help me focus when I get back to the US and/or make the most of my mail orders. This is the first year I put up some fall decor in Sept. I usually do increments of 30days Oct = Halloween, Nov = Fall, and Dec = Christmas.

Yep, I go to a slightly different decorating theme in November with some gaming birds like pheasants, and turkeys. Then add back some of the September pumpkins. I make myself wait until the day after Thanksgiving to decorate for Christmas. But, I watch your Christmas decorations in November for great ideas. 😂

I put fall back out for Thanksgiving and do Thanksgiving tablescapes before Christmas decorating. My favorite area was the butler’s pantry area! I have those music instrument playing skeletons too! I put them by my sons keyboard!

I do "Falloween" I feel like they compliment each other very well and my Halloween decor just looks so much better with the addition of fall colors. Then I remove Halloween and do Thanksgiving. We don't get a really fall where I live so I like to make it last as long as possible. I'm also a maximalist decorator so it's weeks of decorating. I'm keeping it up awhile lol

Love everything you did!! I just now put out my Halloween decor tonight and when Halloween is over i will put my fall decor back out until Thanksgiving.
Fall is only 4 days old- I will have my Fall items out until Black Friday. Then it comes down and Christmas goes up. Even though it's still technically Fall. I will decorate outside for Halloween and add indoor Halloween to my Fall decor on my birthday which is October 1st. I bookend Halloween! I have done that for decades. My Christmas-- as most of my friends' and family's-- decor stays up until January 6th. That's always been important to my family. Then I play the minimalist challenge game- even though I am as opposite of a minimalist as can be. I do that every January purging lots of items.

This year I kept my fall decorations up then added my Halloween decorations to them. I think I will keep up the fall decor after taking down Halloween decor, then change that out for Christmas decor at the end of November.
I live in Michigan where it is mostly old houses built in the 1920's through 1950's and every house has a huge picture/bay window in the front of the house. EVERYONE puts up their huge family Christmas tree in the window right after Halloween, Christmas is king around here! You can drive down the beautiful neighborhoods and see Christmas spiralling out from the houses to the shops, it's glorious!

Everything is so cute. I only add a few touches of Halloween decor to my fall things. I put those away when it's over but keep the fall out till Christmas decorating. That was so fun to watch where you put everything.
I don't do anything for Halloween decorations but I do give out treats to the trick or treat ears.I do fall decorations and Thanksgiving 🦃 and then Yesss Christmas decorations.Some people remind me of there way to decorate is with what is going on in retail stores you know the store have it out and yess I do be shopping 😅❤❤ 🛒🛍️ have a wonderful day.

I absolutely do not take down fall for Halloween, I just add Halloween to my fall decor. If you think about it, fall is a season, halloween is just a single day “holiday” so I just add. I start fall decorating at the end of august, and it stays up until mid November. Halloween is only up for 2 ish weeks tops. And then I move into Christmas. And to be honest I only do halloween décor because it’s my husband’s favorite holiday and my girls really enjoy it. It’s not my favorite though.

I do fall, add a few jack o lanterns for Halloween, and then Christmas starts coming out on Halloween since we don't get any trick or treaters.

I put up some fall, add all Halloween touches to the fall decor. November first I take it all down and leave my house bare for a couple of weeks before putting up Christmas. I don’t celebrate thanksgiving so I don’t bother leaving any decor up in November.

I decorate for fall then much of that comes down and is replaced by Halloween decor. Once Halloween is over that all comes down, some of the fall goes back up and I add pilgrims, turkeys, large pumpkins, cornucopias, etc. for Thanksgiving.
I love it! My kids would love for me to take away all of the fall and only have Haloween decor, but we comprimise and sprinkle halloween throughout. Then after halloween, it's just fall decor until Thanksgiving...then Christmas shines bright in every room of our house because it is my favorite time to decorate 🙂 . We even keep up the frosted trees through winter since we live in the Northeast.
It all looks so good! I knew I would love that little tree! I usually decorate for fall and then I’ll just add my Halloween stuff to my fall stuff and then when Halloween is over, I take away the Halloween stuff and still leave fall out for a little while before I put up my Christmas.
I combine fall and Halloween once October 1st hits. Then first thing in the morning on November 1st, I dive into Christmas!

Because we are Jewish, the winter decorations are always up depending on when Chanukah is. LOL. So we usually go from our "normal" summer decor stuff into an apples ,pomegranate, and honey theme (for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur). Then, after the high holidays, we go into Halloween, then usually Fall. But there was this one year Chanukah fell on Thanksgiving weekend and so we went straight into winter decorations.

Great video as always Katie! The additional black accents look really good in your home. Not that you asked my opinion (LOL), but after seeing them I think you should consider incorporating more black into your everyday decor.
I usually decorate for fall until the day after Thanksgiving. This is the first year that I will be adding in a little Halloween.....inspired by your videos and the fact that all of my local stores were inundated with Halloween vs fall decor!

I add my Halloween decor into my fall decor, so after Halloween, I just have to put all the Halloween decor away, and all the fall decor is left there, and then I add some items for Thanksgiving to my fall items.
Decor turned out cute, i started falloween so i do out touches of both then after hallween take down the decor for this holiday and leave up fall until novemeber usually Thanksgiving weekend hubby wont bring in until then . TfS xoxox

I do neutral home decor and then go straight to Christmas after Thanksgiving. I do Spring, Easter, Summer, Fourth of July, then Neutral with hints of orange pumpkins if I do any fall. 😊
I only decorate for Halloween if we have a party and then I only do it in our basement for the party. This year we aren't having a party so it's Fall until after Thanksgiving for me. If I'm honest Christmas is my least favorite holiday to decorate. It's only my husband and I so a lot of times I don't even put up a tree. He doesn't care about it and we really don't have a ton of guests in the month of December so it would only be for me really. I can't wait to watch you decorate for Christmas though!

I put up Fall in the middle of September because it just doesn't feel like fall in the south in August 😂. So I incorporate Halloween into the fall decor, keep it up until Thanksgiving because I hate Thanksgiving with Christmas decorations, exept for the tree! The tree will go up in November 🙂
