Actually Disney wasn't really into making Power Rangers into like this big ass marketable franchise for boys because they thought it was a piece of shit TV show that only intended to sell toys. And that's just really sad because for all the effort that the company wasted on buying out Marvel and Star Wars, they could've just grew a pair of balls and just bought out Saban's company from going out of business and just kept the franchise going for as long as it can and we wouldn't even be having any of these problems with the Neo-Saban era trying too damn hard to make Power Rangers feel "too much of a kids' show for adults and older PR fans to handle!"
