this is my favourite piece of asuka's artwork! the android boy who wishes he was a real human. the song totally fits it, too! wriggling about dancing in bed to this at 2 in the morning.
Prototyperaptor is one of the best producers I've heard thank you very much for putting this track up!
I find the art piece used here very ... intriguing? Especially the android/robot/puppet man. It's probably not the artist's intent, but my imagination has already conjured up a premise and story behind this character. For some reason I feel he has a deep history that needs to be explored, as well as the world around him.
But that's just tired me speaking. I need to get some sleep.
I like where that is going. =P
That's a very... anime-like story line that I see.
My thoughts were that he was a lone artist that craved for human love but since he was so alone and awkward he thought of himself as a puppet to his art. Im kinda of tired too... :p Or you know he was created as a doll but gained human thoughts and craved for love and started making a mate for himself in the same way he was created. Thus the drawing the body parts and the human anatomy book.
Well, I could relate this picture to Sasori for example, from Naruto. Who wanted to be more than a human, and yet, he was one to his very "core". Someone who is desperately trying to shed his Humanity, yet he can't get rid of it. In this picture I can see a desperate man. Who is trying to make the perfect picture, a copy if you will, of his beloved one. Based on the little pictures on the top right side, I would say he was stalking a girl.
I would believe that the drawings was intended as a gift, for the girl, as a sign of his everlasting and undying love towards her. However, in the end, something stopped him of doing this. Perhaps himself.
