Nice. I just got the Pennsylvania River class tea wine on Altoona prototype with the auxiliary a thing on the pilot and it’s number is 5548 with paragon three
I’d have to get an actually decent mic and editor to even approach professional haha. I’m operating on Windows movie maker and the mic from my KZ earbuds 😂😂 it works for now, but I’d love to upgrade someday
Unless there is a small library of whistles from which to chose, BLI dropped the ball on this one. It's nothing like the chime whistle on the K4, J1, and T1.
Did you try out the smoke feature on it? I know a friend of mine has a paragon2 T-1 but his smoke generator is not generating enough heat for it to smoke, but the smoke feature on some of my other engines is amazing and I recommend trying it out!
I have the same result from my 1920s era Pullman cars, which like the ones in the video, are made by Rivarossi. I guess its just a common thing with their cars. (Not that they're bad, the cars are actually amazing, but the squealing gets annoying quickly) 🤷♂️
@@sort187 (I don't remember the prototype scale size) I believe most HO rolling stock have the same sized wheels, I found a 12 pack of Kadee brand metal wheels on Amazon for $10, if they're out of of stock by time you get there, you can go to Trainworld or Hobbylinc and find similar ones for a similar price. 😋
I have both versions. They are definitely great engines, but they will find poor sections on your layout, and dirty track, unless you break them in. Anyways, these are amazing engines. I will be getting a third one once 5550 comes out.
Holy crap that is one beast of an engine! Can't bileve the level of detail BLI put into this gem! Excellent video!
Excellent review. That design is my favorite steam engine. Thanks for sharing. Dave
The T-1! great video as always!
Very nice review! BLI has an eye for detail
BLI did an excellent job with the T-1. Great vid man.
The boilers on all non-brass/plastic steamers are cast in ZAMAC, a zinc-aluminum alloy. Old Mantuas and Bowser locos included.
I just got a Paragon 3 version of the Broadway Limited T1 today. Absolute beast of an engine.

Awesome review! One thing I recommend is that you get a pop filter, then boom! Professional reviewer

@@gopernoperstrains3160 The editing is perfect on this video
Nice Video Will, very Epic T1
That is huge! Great review!

they should doublehead it with 611 and 4014 then take it around horsecurve

Beautiful. Run a 20th Centry Ltd Dreyfuss on the inside line and you can recreate the approach to Chicago Union Station in the late 40's
Thank you for using the word "navigate", instead of "negotiate"!
VERY NICE 👌 👍 👏 😀
You forgot to mention the blind driver wheels and replacement sets.
What is the pilot that shorts out? Was thinking of getting one and I use ez track which flexes.
If i got a ho scale train and put it on oo honbry track, would it work?
The squeaking sound isn't a bad thing. Prototype railcar wheels on rail squeal. Think of it that way.

@@Lanky0001 what size wheels are they? I'm considering changing to metal wheels....

Noice
Mine is great.
Where do you buy the rivarossi steam locomotives like the blue comet or southern 1401?
There’s no one place I buy them, I get them from all over.
chuff
If only of it was a real thing
Why the annoying piano over your voice ?
