I remember one time I was at an antique shop and a gentleman was complaining about the smell of the shop smelling old. I told him you either love it or you don’t. ❤️❤️❤️

The yarn winder is a beautiful piece and I can see that being a unique display if you have room for it. The stereoscope takes stereoscope or stereograph cards rather than negatives (but that's probably what you meant). I really liked the cherry box because of the unusual blue label. Sometimes if you walk around with the measurements, you can find someone selling a lid that might fit your crock.
Hi Deanna👋 I’ve been wanting a spinning wheel but they are definitely bigger, this won’t take up as much space… I hope 🤞 you’re definitely correct on the name. I actually saw a box of them once when I was thrifting and I remember looking at them and thinking “ these would be great for decorating “ but at that time I didn’t have any need for them. Now I’ll definitely be looking for some. Thanks for the suggestion I’ll also be looking for a lid now 😁have a great night ❤️❤️❤️

So fun! I'm hoping to go antiquing this week also, hope to cross some things off my want list😉😊 Oh my.. the werewolf and a few other things were a bit creepy🫣 Neat..i have several old lanterns, my red & black one are made the same as these! The yarn winder is so cool! The crates are also nice to hang on the wall like a shelf and sit things on top & inside. Google lens it and you may find out the age! I love the old tattered books too, and i love finding things written inside or pieces left by the owner, isn't it cool?! I have several that once belonged to a library and some that were old school library books. Lol we're not nuts, we just love what we love..rusty, worn, old and sometimes broken😄 I also like turning some books around and letting the opposite side show, the old discolored & worn edges of the pages, looks so pretty! Wow you scored great pieces for that price! Can't wait to see it all styled..TFS😊
Hi Tammy 👋can you believe my daughter tried to talk me into buying the werewolf! Back when she was younger I went all out over the top decorating for Halloween and every year I had a Halloween party for her and she would invite lots of friends. But now that she’s grown and since I’ve totally changed my style I focus on the Fall decor. I really like google lens, it’s a great tool. I just decorated with my wooden crate and I can’t wait to show you all what I did with it. We have soo many things in common. That’s one of the wonderful things about my channel that I love the most, it always me to connect with so many wonderful people who have similar interests. Have fun antiquing, I hope you find some treasures❤️❤️❤️

Good morning, I live in upstate New York, halfway between Syracuse and Utica. Is this anywhere near me? We have lots of antique malls here and hopefully yard sales will start soon too❤. This one looks awesome, lots of unique items and prices were good too. Love the yarn winder! I have one that my best friend gave me for my birthday and have with my antique sewing machine and sewing accessories. Great finds and a fun trip! Debby

I’m thinking maybe around 2hours depending on what part of Syracuse you are in. That’s a sweet gift to get from your friend and I’m sure it looks lovely how you decorated with it. I’m definitely ready for yard sales to start, hopefully this year I’ll be able to go with my sister in law and niece in Pennsylvania. Does the lady who sells lids have an online store?❤❤❤
@@melaniethompson6353 no, we live in a rural farm community about 45 minutes from Syracuse. She lives here in Oneida and sells lots of crock lids on our local Facebook marketplace, very reasonable
