Nameless is a totally different character but with the same move set yet different animations his only mainstream appearance was in 02 um made to replace k9999 or krohnen from the nest saga who was hated by snk since his of design is literally Tetsuo from Akira and got copyrighted so nameless was his replacement what's cool about him is the fact that he has dark crimson blood ISH flames instead tentacles and he recovers his glove to release his flames BC his flames are to powerful for him to hand much powerful than k and kyo combined but he can still his drill glove which is basically the remains of his love who died in an experiment and got turned into his glove to cool down his flames so yeah totally different character and I hope they bring him as a dlc with a bit different moveset except his DP drill attacks
@@ricardomilos3872 The copyright and hate are all peculation that was actually cleared a while ago... so he wasnt hatd by snk and wasnt under any type of copyright lawsuit, simply snk didnt know how to progre his story line and thy themselves didnt know how to change his design at a time and place when snk-playmore was a ting and they were focusing on staying afloat so trying to see if character fit or not with a bunch of speculation on its design was clearly not worth it, kno that snk has regained some stability thnks to KOF XIV and other projects they were able to inject some needed personality and changes into this character, that is that, no hate no copyright

Can't be helped, the only way they could bring him back is by not making him nearly identical to Tetsuo as possible, honestly it's surprising they still kept the Gun cannon super intact.

And makes less sense in terms of lore than Nameless
At least Krohnen is original now, the ripoff design was my only gripe with him. Still prefer Nameless tho but this is fine, I hope he get to shine in canon game someday.

If it is "half" canon, automatically makes 2002 UM "half" canon too since there's no difference besides NESTS bosses and Nameless (which is better than Gay9999 in every aspect).

El namelezzz solo usa el brazo izquierdo. No combinaron nadie krohnen es k9999 únicamente, el cambio de sus poderes fue que ya tiene mas control de ellos ya que su brazo deforme era una falla biologica. El namelezzz sacaba un tornillo, y este es in tentaculo bionico vaya tonto que eres para comparar dos cosas distintas que no tienen nada que ver. El namelezzz no es canon y k9 si!!
I personally not a fan of Nameless. He feels like a very Edgy OC who was put in the KOF lore by forced. His design is too edgy for my taste and I like K' but with Nameless it was too far. The fact that he was made with the only purpose to replace K9999's spot makes Nameless not very good. Also, he is another fire user, I am SO tired of fire users in KOF (there are too many) and it is also one thing I dislike about Krohnen and why K9999 was better than both. Nameless's story was fine but personally, I am not a fan of the 'cool edgy avenger' character. But this is just my personal opinion.
Only reason Nameless was made because back then, KOF was sued for making K9999 look like Tetsuo from the movie Akira. So as years passed with past KoF games, SNK was hesitant on bringing him back...hence the design change on his appearance and moves.

Snk is Probably being cautious about using this character.. there was no actual suing thing going on but it is obvious that k9999 is a total rip-off. I guess they gave krohnen fire abilities cause he is also a clone of kyo and it can change some rip off motions from akira
