The Pokemon Type Swap Nuzlocke is a randomized Pokemon Nuzlocke series where all the Pokemon Types are random, and I draw the way I think they'd look. It's technically also a Hardcore Nuzlocke - no potions in battle. Alpharad the internet funnyman is our rival this time and of course Jaiden Jaiden Animations JaidenAnimations shows up as a Cleffa.

As hype as Kenneth was, a dark type wonder guard Roserade would have been incredible
if the secondary typing happened to be ghost it literally would’ve been impossible to lose kfhdkf
@@FreakigesSternchen Not impossible, just very improbable. Technically destiny bond, status, weather, and moves that don't check typing (like counter/mirror coat) would still be effective at killing. Not sure on the counter part, but the other things could certainly still kill the mon

@@enbyrogue3740 Most of those are much worse checks when the Wonder Guard mon has multiple hit points.
Honestly having the wonder guard budew and possibly Roserade might've actually been better than the Arceus. Pure dark only has a weakness to bug and fighting in this generation. So it couldnt have been hurt by 15 out of the 17 types in the game. So go for a wonder guard pokemon every time, even over a legendary.
I think we've all learned a valuable lesson in not using speed up. I know grinding sucks but if you're gonna play a nuzlocke you have to slow down for encounters or else you're gonna die.
Just a tip for the next one! There's a thing for Nuzlockes called the "Dragon Rage Clause"! It's a ruling so you don't have to worry about your pokemon dying to a Dragon Rage (which does a fixed 40 damage making it so the game is practically over right then and there) up to a certain point! Meaning before the 2nd gym, dying to Dragon Rage is safe for them. After the 2nd gym, Dragon Rage becomes lethal. This clause is null and void should your pokemon also have dragon rage.

I used the this during my plat nuzlocke. I was in the oreburgh gate and i skipped the two picnickers inside. After I decided to go back after getting my encounters i went back to level up my mons. The first one had a garchomp and Dragon rage. I Blacked out... I skipped him and went to the second.... Gabite also with dragon rage. Blacked out. I actually just rage quit and redid my randomiser to ban the move XD

I’m an artist as well but I’ve never drawn Pokémon though I’m mainly better at drawing people and just seeing all these drawings of Pokémon..
They’re beautiful I love it so much
I’m amazed by the fact that people who nuzlocke know and see the videos of others who do the same, and despite seeing that speeding up pretty much tends to be the reason for losing Pokémon, they still do it…by this point I can no longer see it as nothing else but an inner desire to fail and end the suffering hahaha
Thing is, when the game itself takes 100+ hours, you tend to want to use speed up as much as possible to take that time down.

@@SImrobert2001 In a nuzlocke however that means you risk missing the opponents move and utterly killing your team. So it isn't worth it!
Yes it's an inner desire to fail, totally not just because of impatience with grinding which is long and tedious.
Pokemon was made for ten year old...but we still play it 10 years after (edited: now it's pokemon instead of polemon lol)

Just wanna get the style down, even if my art atm isn’t nearly simplified enough to make realistic designs, I often have these fat lines that I shave and clean up but it’s never as clean. frustrates me no end but I am really enjoying doing digital art

Me and my friends made the legendary clause because legendary catches are super cruel especially at the start of the run where money is low. (The clause is that we either get to scum save if we really want the mon and dont mind the effort or to redo the encounter to get something more catchable)
