    FROM NORTHERN BRITISH COLUMBIA CANADA 🇨🇦!!
    So thankful that you made the choice to do this video. My 23 yr old son has ALL of the traits you explain SINCE A BABY! He never connected with people socially. I’ve been researching & seeking help for him for 22 years! Because he “looked normal “ he never received any help. Only bullying including from teachers. Major problems trying to get through a day in school. He is of GOOD Character & extremely intelligent. As he could not be open to help due to constant reprimands from anyone around him including “friends “, He now lives on the street, is suicidal, no job, no income, after holding a good job for 5 yrs but was fired because of the symptoms you describe including major digestive problems & daily anxiety where he vomits upon going into society! I KNOW he has Asperger’s! & no professionals are listening! How do I reach my son from your point of view!!! I’m DESPERATE for my son to receive help that is available for him! GOD BLESS YOU!
    From Greg’s wife.

    Yes we can mature much later in life. I am in my 30s and might as well be a teen ager. But I am finally maturing so better late than never, right?

    ok... that was in the beginning she sounded critical. She sounds really nice and supporting further into the video. It's a big journey and I can say, looking for information for my boyfriend of nearly 5 years, it was really hard to find. Once I saw videos, I realized what was going on with him and our relationship has totally transformed and blssomed!

    I wish there were some kind of outline or topic list for these videos. It's hard to listen to a long video, hoping to hear something on the topic I was hoping to learn more about. Hopefully this is a helpful suggestion. :)

    Please stop saying that joining ae+ costs one dollar. I got all excited and then very disappointed to find out that it’s only the first month and later it gets more expensive. Let me rephrase that: I felt misled and taken advantage of. My whole life people have been taking advantage of me, often financially. Imagine my MASSIVE disappointment when I found out that you use the same exploitative advertising tricks and misdirects that I have experienced time and time again.
    You HAVE to mention that the $1 is for a one month trial only and $20 per month after that. You are misrepresenting yourself. $20 may not be a WHOLE lot of money but not exactly cheap. But it’s also the principle that rubs me the wrong way. You lost credibility in my eyes.

    I tried to listen to this, I really did, but the sound quality was literally hurting my ears. You might not know it, apparently not, but many of us Autistics are extra sensitive to sound. Try a condenser mike across the room recording to a ' stereo ' file. ( eg two channel mono).

      Actually this is true unfortunately. I didn't understand why it was hurting my ears to listen but I really wanted to listen so I just endured the pain. As I was scrolling the comments I realized, oh that's why.

    Omg! I'M That way, too, of being so different in ways than "normal" people do. However, conversely, same as your mother, I also get mad at others for being so different. But, I get mad at neurotypical people cus it means I have to constantly repeat myself to others or reiterate for them of what I just said, and I hated others repeating to me of something cus I usually remember whatever they've said, which to someone like me is torture. Can it be normal for people with Asperger's to get mad at having to even slightly often repeat themselves?

    • @ivonned32
      @ivonned32 3 роки тому

      I always have my brother repeat him self because he has a mild speech problem.
      His tongue 👅 is not very flexible so he mispronounce lots of words or don’t finish saying them or his consonants are very weak.
      I feel bad for doing this and I want to help him and me to be able to have better communication skills.

    I am alienated from my family, am emotionally numb, and have been unable to find work; I am very much traumatized, and in defense mode; how do I escape? You spoke of trauma work; how to do that?

    • @AnaVenColombia
      @AnaVenColombia 7 років тому

      Dear Noitartst, I think that If you can listen to all the videos Asperger Experts has in youtube, you will probably get to understand quite a bit what is going on with you, and what you can do to start living happier. You will also get to the videos where he explains about trauma work, and refers to the people and website, if I am not mistaken. Much love, and great luck!

    • @Noitartst
      @Noitartst 7 років тому

      I already know about Traumatic Experiencing, but I haven't been able to afford one in my area, though I am looking. As to learning about Aspergers, I've known that for three decades. Do you have any specific videos, to recommend, though? I'd appreciate more specifics.

    Meetup dot com for meetups to do Raspberry Pi Supercomputer building (Supercomputer building in this case is when you take several Raspberry Pi boards, put together the one housing into which they should be placed. And they are linked together).

    Is like to see what he says about burn out. Many individuals get deep in burn out and lose their phisical health and eventually mental health goes down the tubes as well.

    I don't technically have aspergers or autism, but I strongly relate to the freeze/defense mode in response to absorbing, spoken or unspoken, familial "fix my kid" mode. I was frustrated with myself that i'm maturing late due to this, but this gives me relief and clarity. Anyone with a drastically different personality type from the rest of their family and/or disability I believe can have very similar experiences and benefit from this information. Thank you.

    I really liked your “freeze” video but just realized you have tried to monetize your advice. Are you a psychiatrist and specialist in autism? Then maybe not call yourself an Asperger Expert

    • @MrsPaulaTorres
      @MrsPaulaTorres 6 років тому +2

      Ee Fsss anyone can monetize the work they do you don’t have to bea doctor to share your experiences opinions and advice thanks for your concern!

    • @jadelouisetidman7400
      @jadelouisetidman7400 6 років тому +1

      Anybody can monetise their work as it’s a public tool on a public platform, it doesn’t in any way regulate the information he is trying to provide.
      This person seems to seeks comfort in knowing they are receiving evidence backed research and rightly so, there’s a whole world of people trying to convince you they know best. And bad information can most certainly be damaging.
      I can agree with Ee Fsss in implying only legitimate information form a consummate professional should be charged for.

      Some psychiatrists and specialists aren't as educated about Autism as people believe and when you have the personal experience of living with the condition, is some ways you have the likelihood of becoming more of an expert then some professionals. It's tempting to have blind faith in appeals to authority over keeping an open mind.

  • @jadelouisetidman7400
    @jadelouisetidman7400 6 років тому

    There’s no such thing as an expert in asperger’s, the actual “professionals” will tell you that, over and over again.
