La Thebom è molto brava. Peccato che di tanti ruoli che potevano esaltare la sua regalità, la sua alterezza, il suo senso tragico, abbiano scelto proprio questo duetto....

To be fair, there aren't too many duets between a bass and a mezzo. Perhaps the duet at the end of Samson if he could sustain the tessitura.
