    Remember her from Skutvik-Skrova-Svolvær here in Norway where she was in traffic until 2014 as "Vågan"

      @@l33g0 another curiousity is that the new "Baldur" was the ferry who previously took over when "Vågan" went to Iceland, and it happened one more time, this time on Iceland, when "Baldur" set sail for Caribbean as "Bequia Express 3"

      The M/S BALDUR commuter ferry operates now in Finland on the Utö route. She was renamed M/S Utö in 06/2023. Earlier she operated between Stykkishólmur-Brjánslækur 1990-2006 (?).
      BALDUR, Ro-Ro/Passenger Ship, IMO 8712582.
      Built in 1990 by Thorgeir & Ellert h/f, Akranes, Iceland.
      Delivered 1990 to Floabaturinn Baldur h/f, Stykkisholmur, Iceland.
      1990 Between Stykkishólmur -Brjánslækur.
      Deployed for Seatours Ltd., Stykkishólmur, Iceland.
      2006 Sold to Rosita Ab, Turku, Finland. Renamed M/S EIVOR.
      2006 Deployed between Pärnäs - Berghamn - Nötö - Aspö - Jurmo - Utö, Finland
      2018 Sold to Saariston Meritie Oy, Turku, Finland.

      Utö (meaning ”outer island”) is a small lighthouse and fortress island located at the outer edge of the Archipelago Sea in the Baltic sea. Utö is the southernmost year-round inhabited island in Finland. Finland’s first lighthouse was built on Utö in 1753.
