- Last summer, I moved from Tokyo to Kamakura.
To achieve my goals and make my dreams come true, I decided to live in a beautiful house in Kamakura.
It was my ideal home, with the first floor as a studio and the second floor as my living space.
With the ocean, mountains, and shrines all around, birds soaring through the sky, and squirrels running freely, it felt like heaven for someone like me who loves nature and animals.
Right after moving in, I traveled to the United States, and after returning to Japan, a major change happened in my life.
Because of that, it became difficult for me to stay in Kamakura.
Life is not easy.
You never know what will happen.
But I can’t afford to just stand still.
I want to overcome this challenge and keep moving forward.
I forgot to mention, has anyone ever told you, you have such beautiful eyes.

It's admirable you always see the bigger picture, even when you are sad. You've overcome quite a lot in your life, but you keep looking forward. Working towards your goals. That's beautiful to witness. You are a beautiful person, Yuu. But... having said that, it can be lonely too. Being alone & feeling lonely can be one and the same. One can also feel lonely while surrounded by people, which is a feeling I know quite well. You have a lot of followers who would love to meet you. I hope you get to meet some of them and the move to Tokyo will go swiftly and without too much stress. And, have you finally eaten that coffee crisp yet? :)
Being alone is difficult, I hope when you move back to Tokyo you can have many meals with friends and family. 🤗

Hi from Boston USA, I understand your situation. I rescued a pup, her name is Pepsi and I have met so many wonderful neighbors just walking her. I live in a very diverse condo building with many international neighbors. I also try to start conversations and welcome new neighbors. I think more people struggle with loneliness including myself. I'm alone now too and yes, sometimes it's very lonely. I'm an awful lot older than you and none of my family live closer than 100 miles away. And if I had the money to travel to Japan I'd gladly come and practice Japanese in Japan with you. Probably drink more tea though in reality. ❤

Dear Yuu, your video touched me very much and I also cried a few tears. I know only too well how you feel! Leaving a place that is important to you and where you feel at home is hard! And being alone is hard too. But it taught me a lot! Namely, how satisfied I am with myself. It's better to have a few but good friends, it's not the quantity that matters! Disfruté escucharte se que sentirse solo no es bueno. Podemos disfrutar momentos en solitario pero hace falta compartir con otra persona los momentos de la comida , así se disfruta mejor esos momento. Tu necesitas tener amigos latinoamericanos . Yuu, do what makes you happy. If you're lonely where you are then it's good you're going back to family. You can make friends at the local coffee shops, or meet with other influencers in the area. We'll still be watching.

I'm so sorry for you to move from Kamakura. But I understand that you feel lonely, far from your mom and friend. I have been in Kamakura and Enoshima in 2023 it's very beautiful place, and I would like to visit again this year.

Yuu, it's sometimes hard to meet people, especially when we're so used to always being alone. One of the things that helped me was volunteer work with children and young adults. There, I met mostly kind people whose main focus is to help kids. Despite hardships that most of the children have experienced, they also brought so much joy and laughter.
Life tends to take one through many changes, joy and sorrows, and moving. Thank you for sharing those with us, along with your travels. I find a lot of beauty in all of that. And great camera advice. :)

I found difficult after a a major upheaval such as breakup of a serious relationship to stay in area (in particular if small town that I just moved to). I found moving to help clear mind and give me a fresh start. I suppose it depends on situation as well. Good luck and best wishes!

I’m sorry that you feel alone. It is really difficult to make friends once a person is no longer in a situation where they are surrounded by people that you have to interact with. If I had not gone to college and lived in a dorm, I don’t know if I would ever had made friends. After that it was work. Still at work, a lot (but not all) of those friendships broke down once I or they went to a new job. Maybe you will have more neighbors in Tokyo and eventually you can get to know them? Maybe there is a club or such you can join? I have found just having people around, even if we are not interacting, can be comforting. Like eating alone at a casual eating place. There is an excellent chance you have thought of all of this already. I don’t mean to be redundant. As far as a refrigerator goes, could a large dorm refrigerator go up your spiral staircase? It is not ideal, but it would help. What about seeing if you can hire someone to move one up through a window? In the winter here, I use an enclosed uninsulated space as a second refrigerator, but not everyone has access to this, and it doesn’t help when it is not winter. Good luck with your move! Dear Yuu, I was just thinking about you, a few days ago and now I'm watching you talking about your move to Tokyo soon, and leaving the beautiful place that you're currently in.
Yuu, since I first saw you and your lovely cats, over a year ago now, you seem to have continued your life's journey. You've been to the USA, and by all account's you had a fantastic time, which I'm happy about, as you're such a beautiful soul.
Yes you may be lonely right now, however this is not going to be for ever by any means, you'll find a new partner in time, someone that is as caring as you are. You seem to have a lot more confidence as well at the moment, keep that up and know in your heart that there are so many good things waiting for you, in the days, ahead. Also if I could give you some advice, even if you feel lonely don't always say it, some people may try to take advantage of your good nature if they know how you feel. On days when you feel especially lonely, remember we are all hear, following your journey and sending you lots of love all the time.
Keep your dreams alive in your heart and mind, and in doing that you'll one day have the two homes you mentioned along with a caring partner to share everything with. As for your fridge situation, you may be able to purchase a small one, nothing to large, everything you need will start coming your way. Even if you've had some unhappy experiences in relationships, in the process you've learned more about yourself - both what you want and what you don't want going forward. I'm glad you're moving back to place where you'll have more opportunity to interact with otherwise- and I hope you will push yourself to take advantage of that opportunity.
I, too have never had a lot of friends (usually one or two at a time!) But I am learning to open myself up more to casual acquaintances - like taking part in a weekly Friday night Scrabble game with three or four other neighbors in our building in the community room, or serving on our co-op board of directors ... or smiling and greeting and thanking the bus driver when I get on or off the bus. It's all pushing myself to connect with others; and it feels so good to see them respond in kind.

Very simple, the reason you are getting such a large following is because they love watching you and love to listen to the sound of your voice. Another reason is because you strive at learning and speaking English and believe me you speak it very clearly and well.
