I almost always reach for Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche, Clean Skin Reserve, TF Neroli Portofino, Florobotanica, and Mon Guerlain Bloom of Rose. Since it’s hot for most of the year here, I’m always looking for standout freshies!

Beautiful list! 🤩 I just wore Chance eau Tendre last week~ so pretty! I’m going to bring my Versense out soon, we’re still getting some cold days here but I’m going to switch my perfume trays over regardless 😌😆 I want to smell Valaya, I think I’m going to order a sample sometime this spring :) 🤍

Versace Versense is such a hidden gem, I absolutely adore it and reach for it every late spring and summer. Other faves of mine are Bal d'Afrique (of course 😉), Bergamote Calabria and Herba Fresca from the Aqua Allegoria line and Neroli Oranger from Matiere Premiere. And lots more! 😂

I absolutely adore Escale A Portofino, never tire of it although it's not always easy to find. Very interested in searching out Versense, sounds like I'd like it. A fresh perfume I like is White Linen, an oldie but still hits the mark for me.

Good morning beautiful lady! So I have 3 on your list! My favorite is the Mediterráneo! I love it! For a hot day, I love Vetiver Pompemousse and Almafi Sunray from Zara! They are perfect for spring and summer! I get 4 hrs and they are easy reach fragrances! Love your choices! Be blessed

For fresh and clean fragrances, I love my Dossier dupe for Silver Mountain Water by Creed. Continuing the English theme, I also like Burberry Brit Sheer and I've just gotten a travel size of Concrete Rain by Allsaints.

I love Petit Matin by MFK, no one ever talks about it! It is so fresh and elegant. Also my skin doesn’t hold scent very well and Valaya stays on me all day and if I get it on my hair or clothing I can smell it for days. Loved this video, especially since you featured two of my favorites Im excited to try out some of the others.

Chris, you are the first perfume vlogger I've ever heard mention Versense, thank you! Literally, just last night I stumbled across a bottle at TJ Maxx, and thought "huh, must be a 2022 release that I missed." Boy, was I shocked when I checked fragrantica-- it was released in 2009.! Maybe it was ahead of it's time...but I have no idea why it isnt on everyone's top 10 list of women's freshies 😮 Oh well, more of it for me! Jomashop here I come!!

Hi Chris, great choices! I don't know if this is generally considered to be a fresh and clean fragrance, but, to my nose it is and that fragrance is Fig Infusion. To me it is a musky fresh scent, I love it!!

Based on your recommendation, I blind bought Versense and I'm not disappointed. I plan to wear it in the heat on its own. But the last couple of days, I've been experimenting with layering it with Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, Delina La Rosee, or Prada Infusion d'Iris. They all work well.

I did the same thing once when I got a compliment from a teller at the bank, I told her I was testing two perfumes, and asked her which one she thought she had smelled 😊 ( it was JHAG Not a perfume ) 😃
I actually have clones for 2 of the perfumes you mentioned: Dior Escale A Portofino - it's Belle Italie from Lidl (Suddenly fragrances) and Chanel Chance eau tendre- it's Incandessence Lotus from Avon. I love them both❣

Good video! I don’t wear freshies much, but I think replica rain one I love and MFK GF silver that no one talks about I consider a freshie, kinda freshie aquatic, and I really like both. I went to smell Valaya, it’s nice, and I agree it’s good for a special occasion, not for me day to day.

I think I’m anosmic to clean reserve skin. I’ve doused myself with it in Sephora so many times but I just don’t smell anything. I want to like it so bad since it seems to be a fan fave. I see people compare it to Kayali musk on fragrantica, do you find them to be similar? I might try that one. Thank you! :)
I love Alba Sui Navigli, never hear it mentioned anywhere. I was scared of the Ambroxan, since it tends to give me a headache, but not here!

I also enjoy Juliet Has a Gun Not a Perfume, Glossier YOU and I also had the pleasure of picking up L'Eau Papier. I enjoy the rice steam. I love my Chance Eau Tendre, so lovely and my first Chanel Fragrance that I could actually stand until I found Misia so now I have two that I love from Chanel. If you love Chanel Chance Eau Tendre you will enjoy BDK's Bouquet De Hongrie trust me.

The ultimate freshie is actually Riddle Original scent. They make it in a roll on oil and lotion. It smells like clean laundry 😌
You've got me wanting to try the Versace. I almost bought the Chance Fraiche but decided on Lancome Absolue Aura, as I don't have any vanilla fragrences. I love how you give some cheaper options. As a newbie collector. I buy a lot of travel size and small bottles to save money- I know I won't ever get through all I have as it is 😅😂.

These sound lovely, Chris. I did get a very nice spring scent and I love almost everything about it, very affordable under $20, Oscar de la Renta Ruby Velvet. It has mimosa, which I tend to like but isn't found in that many fragrances, it seems. The longevity is really awful, on my skin it's gone in an hour or just over that, so I use it for bedtime or just out of the shower on warm nights. I have tried two different body sprays that were supposed to be smell-alikes for Chance Eau Tendre because it is so popular and sounds very pretty, but the strange thing is that I cannot smell either one! I thought the first was a fluke, but when the second one tanked, I decided maybe the fragrance was just not for me-no need to chance it (no pun intended) if I'm anosmic. How often does that happen? Oh, my husband and I found Yellowstone coffee mugs at a local Walmart! They're really big, nice ones, too, and just $5! I know you're quite a fan as I am and thought I'd mention it since we were very surprised to find them there. ~Cynthia P.S.Adding later that I really like Oscar de la Renta Alibi and MCM so far 😉Thanks so much, Chris!
Hi Cynthia!! Yea that’s why I’m usually not a fan of body sprays…to light and gone too quickly. I will say they are nice for work; esp hospital or setting where overly heavy fragrances frowned upon. Several work friends wear body sprays for that reason. And Holy Moly!! I’ve got to get those mugs!!!! 😂
@@ThePerfumeNest The eau de toilettes definitely don't last which is why I have so few of them, same with body mists. On the other hand, that Jimmy Choo Vanilla Love oil layered with the Lalique Le Parfum lasted all day long and into the night! It also made my eyes roll back in my head. I'm blown away by that one, already found a place to order an iimpression oil of the Jimmy Choo scent to continue the experience, yum! 😍 Yes, do get that mug! We love it.

Have you looked at the 4711 perfume lines, there are a lot of fresh cool scents fore the hot days, I didn't know that they had made other then the old 4711 ❤
Hi there! Yes I tested several while in Italy (they carry them at the little pharmacies [think CVS] there). I found the ones I tested extremely light wearing and fleeting.

With Valaya, if a person cannot smell it, I believe they could be nose blind to the molecular notes. Trust and belief everyone else will smell you with Valaya on, it has an everlasting sillage.

I realize I dislike notes I thought I loved and vice versa so I don't trust the blind buy! Like salt. I love a salty note but it does something weird on my skin that repulses me.
