Maybe it´s a bit biased on my end, but Megellda´s ultimate definetly deserved it´s place in a top 25 too. There are too many great ults in this game to make a fair decision. Although... I dunno, Escanor doing a Serious Punch-like attack, Mono doing sick combos with multiple weapons or Merlin literally throwing planets at enemies are all fun and games, but the real fun comes when Megellda tries to assassinate her enemy, fails miserably and then throws her sword and shield aside to attack with her arms in panic. The expression she makes during her ult and the "?" above the enemy´s head put the cherry on top for an overall perfect package of an ultimate that may not show great impact, but fully resembles Megellda´s character too.
For me, honestly, my last favorite of the entire game is Zahard's. That character is made like the gods, in terms of animations and models. Here it was noticed that Netmable had a certain affection for this collab, not like with AOT.
Good editing. Mono's ult is truly remarkable in terms of camera placement and sound FX. SFX has a big impact on me for animations and that is why Freyr's is superior to Freyja In my opinion. I also really love Skadi's for this reason even tho it is quite simple, the sound design is great + i like it when it takes us to a new location instead of just 'Rocky terrain 37'. Ghislaine is one i would def have up here tho.

Yeah this list is full of bull ultimates that don’t deserve to be here. Like u seriously chose old meli and old ban as best ult animations?! They’re bland and boring, and lack any creative or destructive flare unlike others in this list. Where the one ultimate’s ult, And where is purgatory meli’s ult those two are better candidates than old base counter meli and brawler ban. 🙄
We choose the animations we liked the most according to the style they have (in our opinion), there are TOO MANY good ones, honestly. And cap Meli and brawler Ban don't fall off when it comes to style, speed and impact. 🔥 I'm the video editor and account owner btw ;)
There are many ultimates that shouldn't be there, and many others that should have been there. I guess it's subjective, in my opinion I didn't like the list.

AM Meliodas ult makes me feel like the God of Demons but Freyja is just beautiful and just hits the "we don't look back at cool explosion" move
Why is it that the Ragnarok characters have very animated ults?
Because most of them are original characters, so they invest in making them great 👌🏻
