I'm a long term Apple user. Ive had the iphone from 1st gen up to 15pm. This year for the first time I've switched to Galaxy fold. Its taken a month but now i absolutely love it. Its fun to use and i now prefer one ui to apple. In a word i was just so bored of iphone. Ps i like the smaller cover screen 😂
Ditto. Same exact situation here. Was an apple fan boy all the way up to the 15 PM. Now I'm a happy Galaxy Z fold 6 owner and user. I, too, love oneui compared to apple.
I used to always go back to iPhone ; until the 13 Pro Max in 2021. I switched to the Fold 3 later that year and am now on the Fold 5. I'm never looking back.
I was an iphone 13 pro max user for 2 years but I decided to upgrade to a Samsung Fold 5 10 days ago and I'm glad I did. My iphone was just boring and I couldn't justify upgrading to another iphone cause I know the experience would be the same. The fold on the other hand is a breath of fresh air. It's like a phone from the future. I like the narrow outer display for 1 handed use while the beautiful inner display is just a bliss from multitasking to watching movies. Carrying a phone that transforms into a mini tablet is just the future that an iphone just cannot compare.
i had iphone 14 pro max it was good phone for about year and a half then got fold 6 from first day and i sold my iphone after one month using the fold i don't think i can use slab phone anymore, yes it's downgrade for camera but it's upgrade for everything else, thanks for this good video

When it comes to the folding form factors I prefer to use my Z Flip 3. I like that the outer screen is of limited utility, it tells me the time and lets me play and pause music which is all I really need. The problem is of course if the inner screen dies then the phone can't really do anything beyond telling the time and playing music. I also own a Z Fold 3 and I managed to break the outer screen but the phone is still usable as a folding tablet. The would have held true the other way around, if the inner screen had died I would have still had a usable (if somewhat skinny) phone.
I went from the Note to the fold 3 in 2021. I have the fold 6 now. I can't ever go back to a slab phone again. They're too small and have limited functionality. They feel like toys now and feel outdated.
Guys! Quit moaning about the front screen being narrow. The whole point of this phone is 'portability'! Think of it as a tablet that folds inwards rather than a phone that folds open. If the thing was any wider you may as well call it 'The Galaxy Brick'! It's about needs must. . If you are an avid user of Facetime, Snapchat, Instra etc etc then Apple is the Dawg and if you want to customise and have an open corridor to third party Shnitz then it's Android. If you, like me, own Both Apple and Android then you got your Schnitz on Lockdown 😅
apple should make the ipad mini the fold iphone. I didnt want to upgrade i just upgraded last year to the iphone 15 from the 11 then i saw the iphone 16 and went to the samsung store played with the z fold 6 navy color which is beautiful. The phone opens up like cmon lol Now if apple did that it would like a ipad mini calls on. Im happy for right now that I switched, it a beautiful phone but i dont like how i cant have maps running on the lock screen, Samsung could def make this phone wider Samsung had made discounts on there products that apple doesnt too, I got this phone for 1000 because of military discount (which they have any programs) and $400 off just for picking navy. The box feeling it feels so good in my hand (no homo). THEN IT OPEN UP and I remote play my Xbox on it, and If apple want me back as a user they gotta make something like this not no fucking flip but you know if apple make one it be housing mortgage price $4k. Please anyone going to get the iphone16 fuck that get a z fold 4 5 6
Im using the S24 Ultra, the Samsung Watch Ultra and the iPhone 15Pro Max with Apple Watch Ultra....the Cameras on the S24 Ultra are so much better and the overall usage is so good and far ahead of Apple, that the 15PM ended up as iPod :-D
My ecosystem is both Samsung and Apple and never have any issues. Z Fold 6 (main phone), vanilla iPhone 15 (second phone) M2 Mac Mini and M1 Macbook Air Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Sony Linkbuds S Garmin Forerunner 265 and Galaxy Fit 3 (for sleep tracking only) I installed the LocalSend app on my Samsung and Apple devices for easy file transfers.
I had the 2023 razor wanted the 2024 but they didn't have it so I got the 24 ultra. It's a power house but it felt boring so I got the 16 pro max. I had it for 5 days and ios is so bad. It forces you to do what they want. Then I got the z fold 6 and it's feeling really good. Still trying to understand it but it's awesome. So much you can do it on it. I'd recommend s24 ultra. But if you want something different the z fold 6.
This was a very very helpful video to watch. I really like your thoughts. 💭 I think the Apple ecosystem is a tuff thing to break away from. It helped to hear how you don’t love opening the big display on your Z Fold and that actually limits your time on the phone. I guess it easier just to buy an iPad mini if you want that.
WHY CAN'T THE MOBILE MAKER FOCUS MORE ON AMP/DAC? IT REMINDS ME MORE OF A "SONY WALKMAN",YEAH🤩. I WISH SOMEONE, A COMPANY WENT THAT WAY INSTEAD OF THE CAMERA. THAT WOULD BE COOL❤
It all comes down to your needs. As you, I’m a private pilot and I bought the Fold 6 thinking I can use it as an one device for everything, like kneeboard and take photos inflight and then use it as a navigation device for SKYDEMON ( I live in the UK) . But unfortunately it’s not possible. For everything else it’s perfect☹️ I will stick with my IPhone 16 / IPad mini 6 configuration for the moment and ditch the Fold 6. I must say Fold 6 it’s a very sexy device and I had nightmares before returning it 😄
I was a big time iPhone user but have stuck with galaxy phones for a long time never going back to iPhone to boring I've tried fold & flip 5 got the fold 6 then decided to try the pixel 9 pro fold which for me was a mistake because gaming is absolutely trash on it from optimised side of things I knew it wasnt going to be the best but didn't realise it was going to be so bad so I'm debating if I should go back to fold 6 or go with the s24 ultra not sure yet
😭Have you even tried the F6? The F6 is definitely an upgrade from the F4. Also, Samsung software is still tops when it comes to foldables. I will admit that the OnePlus does have slightly better hardware, but what happens if something happens to your phone. There are people who have had a hard time getting their Opens repaired/replaced even with their warranty. If something happens to your Samsung fold you usually will have a replacement in days versus weeks for the Open.
Almost every reviewer on the Internet has told that Z fold's cover screen is too narrow. I just don't understand why Samsung isn't listening to their customers. SAMSUNG WE WANT WIDER COVER DISPLAY!!!!
They are giving the wider display to those in Asia with the Z Fold 6 Ultra. If that one sells well then I'm sure the Z Fold 7 will have that form factor.
We don't ALL want a wider screen. It's absolutely perfect for one handed use. It's a secondary screen. My partner has really big hands and he manages the front screen perfectly fine. Don't speak for everyone.
Are you referring to me? I’m obviously speaking for myself in the video. Never did I speak for anyone else any more than your comment just did. I just shared my experience and how I felt.

Same. I feel like I am bored with slab phones and opted for a silver shadow Z Fold 6 with 2 years Samsung Care.

I like the narrow front screen. I don't have huge hands though lol
The narrow screen is amazing for one handed use.
Exactly. And when you want to go big, you open it up
I traded my iPhone 15 pro max for Samsung fold 6. I love fold 6. It's just great for me. The camera for my use is about the same.
Samsung has its own file share program. It's quickshare. It works the same as airdrop
I use both. iPhone 15 PM and galaxy zfold 6. I prefer galaxy.

You brought 2 ecosystems and don’t drop content im just curious what was the point?
Which watch do you like better?
The ultra is the best phone available!
iPhone to Z Fold for me as well. Not going back anytime soon. This device blows me away.
My ecosystem is both Samsung and Apple and never have any issues.
Z Fold 6 (main phone), vanilla iPhone 15 (second phone)
M2 Mac Mini and M1 Macbook Air
Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Sony Linkbuds S
Garmin Forerunner 265 and Galaxy Fit 3 (for sleep tracking only)
I installed the LocalSend app on my Samsung and Apple devices for easy file transfers.
I subbed because he has both Ultra watches on... you're not alone!
I would like to see him try the Pixel 9 pro fold.
I want to try it but I need to convince myself to buy the thing. It's expensive.
I had the 2023 razor wanted the 2024 but they didn't have it so I got the 24 ultra. It's a power house but it felt boring so I got the 16 pro max. I had it for 5 days and ios is so bad. I absolutely prefer using gestures on Galaxy S phones. Much faster and those buttons look ancient to me 😁
You can enable gestures or use the buttons on the Z Fold and the S models.
WHY CAN'T THE MOBILE MAKER FOCUS MORE ON AMP/DAC? IT REMINDS ME MORE OF A "SONY WALKMAN",YEAH🤩. I WISH SOMEONE, A COMPANY WENT THAT WAY INSTEAD OF THE CAMERA. THAT WOULD BE COOL❤
You should try the honor magic v3 it's a good foldable phone and the UI is similar to iOS even tho it's Android

As someone who’s never used a foldable phone, would this be a good first one or would it be better to wait for the fold 7?
I think it’s a great phone. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is also really nice.
At this point there's very little changes in phones because there's only so much you can do with technology. I'd go for the Fold 6. I love mine.
I was a big time iPhone user but have stuck with galaxy phones for a long time never going back to iPhone to boring I've tried fold & flip 5 got the fold 6 then decided to try the pixel 9 pro fold which for me was a mistake because gaming is absolutely trash on it from optimised side of things I knew it wasnt going to be the best but didn't realise it was going to be so bad so I'm debating if I should go back to fold 6 or go with the s24 ultra not sure yet
man i like everything about the fold 6 except the front screen. it really is a dealbreaker for me.
I've used fold 4 and half year ago moved to one plus open and one plus open really is way better than fold 6
Fold 4 is not fold 5 and 6
😭Have you even tried the F6? The F6 is definitely an upgrade from the F4. Also, Samsung software is still tops when it comes to foldables. Lol you don't have a fold 6. The 6 is waybetter than the 4.
Almost every reviewer on the Internet has told that Z fold's cover screen is too narrow. I just don't understand why Samsung isn't listening to their customers.
SAMSUNG WE WANT WIDER COVER DISPLAY!!!!
Although I just saw @jerryrigeverything Pixel Fold video so perhaps there is a good reason for the narrow screen.
They are giving the wider display to those in Asia with the Z Fold 6 Ultra. If that one sells well then I'm sure the Z Fold 7 will have that form factor.
@@jeradtechyou should try to get your hands on Z Fold 6 Ultra or at least cover it when it comes out.

What is the fold 6 case shown in the video?
Its Pitaka
Yeah the Apple watch ultra do not have more features than the Galaxy watch ultra😂😂
So in conclusion you finish talking more about the ecosystem more than the phone itself like most reviewers do. P.S I HAVE both the fold 6 and 15 pro
Iphone users all live on earth 2 speaking only one language.....ridiculous.
Android!!!
