The same old guys put nobody over, so they built almost no new talent, the world title was passed around like a hot potato, and people would just randomly change the rules mid-match to win. Once the nWo thing got old and the WCW guys got tired of being constantly beat up all the time so they joined the nWo in droves, WCW went downhill fast. There's a very good reason that company doesn't exist anymore and it was their own damn fault.
