And it's not that they suck, it's that it really doesn't matter when you're hacking. Not only can you keep shooting when you're dead but if you have the same obnoxious hack that they did you can keep killing the whole team regardless. If they didn't want to die they would've used godmode, they just didn't care.

Nintendo has no real reliable report system honestly. In fact, there is no easy way to report someone and I've had a switch since release. All you can do is really block them as far as I'm concerned but I may be missing something.

Actually blocking does nothing in Splatoon 2 and 3. You can still encounter player's you've blocked, I think it slightly reduces the likelihood of it but you can still see them frequently.

So yeah I saw a bunch of reddit posts about this, I don't know what happened but apparently a popular mod menu added some sort of option which makes it harder for you to get banned. This, to me, might just be the final nail in the coffin for this game.
These dishonest people may think they won a game but make no mistake, there is no merit to benefit what they have done. Truly an absolutely shameless lot, they gain nothing practical from cheating like this, not even trying to be subtle about it, or trying to go for objective, just scum of the earth cheaters hacking a party game in a public lobby like it's turn-of-the-century Maplestory and bullying others as if they're being funny. I hope they will meet severe consequences for their actions, not because I wish them harm, but because there should be consequences for this sort of behavior.
I'd argue the hackers team was probably loving this game, with stuff like this you should just paint the zone and end the game quickly as possible to stop the other team having to waste their time sitting through this. Whenever encountering a hacker, best rule of thumb is to not engage and report them. Don't respawn, wait for the round to end and report and block them. They want attention, so simply do not give it

I did found a hacker on overwatch and i found i got killed by somebody that shot me through a wall. I managed to win with just me and my teammate killed the hacker, and plus the other team is really bad at it too.

If no one had inked the zone, then the alpha will win by default, teams are picked at random so it would technically be a 50/50 chance
