extremely helpful! I had no idea whatsoever what the algorithm actually did, now i do. Thanks a lot. Even though I do edexcel it's pretty much identical to OCR

This makes so much sense! I have just been doing the algorithm, remembering all the steps, but have no idea what I am doing. You are an absolute lifesaver sir.

This is very well explained! I have worked my way through all of the algorithm videos. Really first rate. This is such a good explanation of the derivation of the algorithm!

Excuse me sir. I am able to follow the steps but am trying to get a deeper understanding of each step.
At 28:10, you say x and y are basic because they are by themselves. Please can you explain why the fact that they are by themselves means they are basic (just from the equations) i.e. why does being by themselves mean they're basic?
And conversely, why having other 'stuff' in front of s1 and s2 mean they are non-basic (just from the equations).
Thank you for your awesome videos.
