What’s the expenses of armamentarium required in MDS Endo apart from regular tution fees?
You would need to buy all your files (rotary+hand) , endomotor, apex locator. You would need a budget for your thesis and library dissertation (it depends on your guide). It could be anywhere between 30k to 1.5 lakhs. You might have to buy some materials as well if the college doesn’t provide some expensive ones like biodentin, etc
Hi do pgs do the fillings.. because when I went to a hospital.. the undergraduate students apparently.. convinced me for a silver filling and took 3 hours .. a full of 3 hours to do one filling on one side.. my sister who had a appointment from pg got her first step of root canal done
They do in some colleges, but mostly composites. Silver amalgam is usually in UG curriculum only. This happens in teaching hospitals.
@@aishilog doc the filling came out 3 days back on Sunday 😭😭 not even a week it lasted
I am sorry that happened. You can always ask for a senior to treat you if you are not confident getting it done from UG students the second time around.
@@aishilog 😅😅😅long story short i went back saying filling has come out so one pg student came and explained i need a more extensive treatment coz my molar is broken from the side.. and she did a onlay or smtg.. its so perfect no issues until now. thanks hope you are doing fine 💖💖

It depends on you skills (dental+soft) and the area in which you would be practising. But starting is usually quiet less 30k-40k but once you build up a recognition you start earning decent amount.
How is ITS , Gaziabad for OS?
It is quite good actually. They are a stand alone dental college, so all the RTA or surgical cases at the medical hospital are managed by OS. The exposure is huge.

Fees structure is same as OS I guess, patient flow at ITS is the same for every department. 400-500 total OPD per day!
