Amazing Pickups man! Lots of great additions to your collection!
Hi Rick. Nice showing of a variety of cards. Congrats on completing the 64 Stand Up set. That is a well used price guide. Thanks for sharing Rick, talk soon my friend.
Congrats on completing the 64 Stand Up's!
@@SammyThunder Hey, thanks Sammy!
Awesome pickups, Rick! Congrats on completing your standups set! I know you've been working on that for a while, and it has to feel good! I need to get a Desert Storm Griffey at some point! Awesome gift from TJ as well! Those things are nice. I'd evaluate the condition and get the key cards graded. I don't like to let them hang out in the box. I'm always worried about them getting damaged. I'd at least penny sleeves and top loaders them. Be well, my friend!
I still have my Griffey jr. rookie card from my childhood/teen-aged years. Beautiful card. A lot more Dick Allen's this time around. I know Mike Petty, said the '71 Topps Allen, is one of his favorite cards.
@@ACD1994 Andrew, that’s cool you still have a truly great card from your childhood! I think the 71 Allen is a great card too! I also like the 64, 65 and 67! Mike has an artistic eye! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great Gift from TJ, i think you would enjoy seeing them displayed in binders.
@@brad8671 Thank you Brad! I think you’re probably right!
Nice haul 🎉🎉
@@godisgreat8462 Thanks Ken! Hope all is well with you!
Nice video Rick. // I am glad that you completed the 1964 Stand Up set. // That's an awesome gift. Personally, I would put the Montgomery set in a binder. This way, you can look at it any time you want. I would not grade any of the cards. Not necessary to grade and separating graded cards takes away from the other cards in a complete set. // Very nice that you got your first DS cards, even if they were both Bonds. That same type of thing has happened to me before. (Finding a graded card for the similar price right after buying the raw card). // The UD Griffey is very nice. It's a landmark card in the hobby. // Nice Allen cards. Thanks for mentioning me in your video. // I like that you use the old school price guide as a "set registry". Very cool. // Thanks for the video.
@@concretebuddy59 Thanks for all your comments! I am inclined to agree with you about a binder for the Monty set. I’m going to think about my options re: grading, etc. Also I’m in agreement with you concerning the DS Bonds All star. He and Bobby Bonilla were my favorites when they were in Pittsburgh back then so that’s why I picked him to get a DS card of. Yeah, completely the 64 Topps Stand Up Set was a longstanding goal , so I’m excited about that for sure! I sent you a couple of Dick Allen cards . I hope you like them!
Rick, your AARP reference is pure gold. 🤣
I vote to display this set in your annual binder set collection.
The desert shield cards are great. 👏👏. Always loved them since their release.Currently, my lone card from that DS set is Steve Jeltz naturally (too bad he’s in a Royals uniform). I do plan on picking up the Clemens (great photo) & maybe the Griffey.
Can never go wrong with Dick Allen cards or 64 Stand-ups (especially Mathews) 😍
@@TJ_Is_Online Hey Tony! Thank you for the kind words! I’m inclined to do as you suggested and put the 582 Monty Set in a binder. I’m going to reflect on it for a little while before I make a final decision. I appreciate your friendship!
