Nice tour. I have stayed at 4 different Tru’s and from what I have seen, they are all very much the same, and this one looks to fit the mold as well. Tru’s have become my hotel of choice. The rooms may have a minimalistic feel, but I think that makes them easy to clean, and they are always spotless. That’s why they are my new go to hotel whenever possible.
They have a awesome pancake machine for breakfast and the pool table is fun

You touched on it, but worth highlighting that having the community areas is part of the reason, I suppose, that the rooms are so minimalistic. Those that like the larger desk/work area in the rooms and storage (no drawers, and open closet hanger), are often surprised when they don't find that in the room.
My brother stays here whenever he visits. It is spotlessly clean the staff are polite.

Ceiling lights by the elevator look like they could "beam" you up.
Hotel tip . Turn off all the lights and use a flashlight , it will help to find a secret camera that maybe recording you . If you see any Red lights in the dark , that's a secret camera in your Hotel room.
Nearly 500 bucks for a 2 night stay in Vestal NY in a small hotel room. I feel like I'm missing something here. LOL
How does $160 + $82 = $484 a night? Or did you spend 2 nights there hiding from hitmen or something?
