Extremely interesting. Such clever people in tech and business. I must, however watch that documentary a few more times in order to fully understand it.
Mobile phones were already massively popular with teens back in 2002. Most of them already had a Nokia. I was super late getting my first cell (a t68i) at 18 in 2003.
I hope people don't turn the comment section into an OS War. Both systems are fairly similar nowadays, and competition is good for us. Just use what you like ff
I liked windows phone it was just too late to market without a solid app base which is a shame considering they had numerous chances. Instead of adapting to the changing market, Balmer instead shrugged off the iphone. The rest is history.

Cuzeg Spiked honestly I think it's tbe other way around, Apple is know becoming to much like Samsung. I have a s8, but honestly (I do like it) but wish I didn't get it, pure Android is king; always, wish I waited a few months
Mibcal But it uses USB-C which is an new standard that can be used for audio as well as video and for charge, although it would be nice to have two ports.
It's greatest strength can also be it's greatest weakness. But, in a perfect world, OEMs wouldn't waste so many resources on making a plethora of phone models and varied skins. But, many of these skins have had great features that weren't even available on stock Android for many years.
I really enjoyed this episode! I would LOVE for you to do AMD next! They are very relevant with their new Ryzen line up taking over intel's market share.
Answer from the composer of the channel: Rockin' a LG G6! And to even things out, while I'd never buy the new IPhone X, I've gotta admit, it does look slick as hell!
Watching this on my Essential phone! Contrary to all the early reviews, it is actually a great phone. Software has improved a lot and hardware is better than any phone in the market. PH-2 is going to be great!
Another amazing video I enjoyed. It's really amazing how business casual help us see things that we could hardly see back then. Thanks a lot! And keep making more videos
This isn't related to the video but if you fry large pieces of shrimp (like 16-20 per pound) it's best to stick with a normal panko coating. Since warping them in woton wrappers and coating in tempura just doesn't give the same taste and texture. This stands true even with a sauce. Though funny enough it's best to just use a squirt of fresh lemon juice or some clarified butter. Don't know why i'm putting this here, but hey someone might find a cooking tip interesting.
This was pretty good. It didn't seem to exude apple-biased like some other channels have in this type of discussion. It stuck with the facts much more than others. Well done! 😎👍 Android rules! ☺️
Google prefers their employees use MacBooks. Last I read, unless you develop specific things for Windows, you actually have to petition your case to get a Windows laptop.
I like Apple and Android. I think Android is more popular because the user can change it to preference. I like Apple because of the sheer optimization of the power. The 7s plus is still more powerful than the s8 even if the stats say otherwise (look up the video by EverythingApplePro). I love both of them, and I could easily use either one in everyday use. The Apple community is known for liking the products no matter what, and I don’t think that’s fair to Android. But please Android community, stop hating on the “iSheep” you’re becoming like them.

This seemed a bit too focused on the US market. For example, operators are different in different countries and therefore none of then play a role on more than 10% of the market. Things that did have a big role outside the US like Nokia and the Chinese internet firewall don't get mentioned.
Well back then Microsoft had a decent 15% marketshare and I'm sure Google was looking at taking on Microsoft, but Google saw the writing on the wall with Apple.
One thing the video did not mention that helps the popularity of Android phones over iPhones, is that Apple is notorious for making hardware repairs impossible or impractically expensive. Apple’s customer service in regard to repair of any devices is abysmal. Often, they won’t even allow their own authorized repair centers have the parts or make the repairs. Apple tries to force the sale of a new device this way, but the public is getting wise to this and pushing back.
2 subs without any video Y I don't hate either, androids are just better bang for the buck (there's no shame in buying a cheap but good thing), apple on the other hand has a too much of a closed ecosystem.
This is fascinating to me, especially since i don't live in the US and have never bought a phone from a carrier, to me the two have always been completely separate, one is a sim card and the other is the device.
Android has the volume but none of the profits, unless you are a vertically integrated company like Samsung. Hope you enjoy feeding all your personal information to Google, and then having to buy another phone after a year since your manufacturer and carrier never support OS updates :-)
You do know Android is open source, meaning any attempt at data mining would be picked up in the source code nearly instantly by any oem/modder compiling Android for there phones iOS however is not, meaning you don't know if Apple is or isn't mining data from you as we speak since there platform is closed source.
