Hello, me personally i use VVDI2 for VAG Group, BMW - CGDI BMW & VVDI2, BENZ - CGDI MB
Please, I would like an answer to this question. We have some cars that are stolen, and after they are returned to the car owner, there is a problem of not having any key. What do you advise me to buy your favorite device, Autel or OBDstarX300, knowing that most of the cars are 2019.2017.2020.
Hello, i don’t have a favorite device, i use device based on needs. Obdstart and autel compesate each other + other tools. What brands do you work most ?

Well, for VW/Audi i Would recommend a VVDI2 + programmer(vvdi-prog or multi prog) from Xhorse, Soon will be released also MLB Programmer. For Mercedes i allways work with dedicated interface CGDI MB or Xhorse MB ( anyway only up to 2015 FSB3 works all ) then for Renault me personally i use OBDStar x300 and Renolink. If you do also crashdata and odo then get obdstar if not, get autel 508s with xp400 ( license / year its cheaper then obdstar ). Anyway for working with 2017-2020 you will need all tools ( keys + ecus + diagnostics ) and for some IMMO genrations you will not be able to make keys.

Hello, i had obdstar over more then 1 year before i have buyed autel, for me personal i use obdstar as my fist choice on all brands except ( VAG, MB, BMW ) where i have dedicated tools.
do obdstar have ECU DATA REPAIR?
On few case only, mostly have options to read immo data from ecu but i have never use it

Hi, both are good devices, its hard to say which one is better i use more tine obdstar then autel but i also use diagnostic functions from autel, key programming from autel its more guided for beginers, autel can also do benz over obdstar, but me i use didicated tool for benz. Autel also can also do some mqb nec with extra adaptersand programmer.
It’s not hard to say.. Autel is the best.
I have them both, I’m not using obdstar since long time ago

Hello, 508S have an internal storage of 64 GB, Autel app using 31GB, system 9GB, on my device 66% is used ( 41,94 GB with all apps ). On micro SD Slot is free.
