Explore the Loews Coral Gables / Greater Miami Area at Florida's LGBTQ+ Tourism Convention

In anticipation of the 2024 Florida OutCoast Convention (FLOCC), Florida's only LGBTQ+ tourism convention, we had a chance to enjoy the beautiful new Loews Coral Gables (the convention host hotel) and explore the Greater Miami area.
The Loews Coral Gables offers luxury accommodations and amenities, and is the perfect place to host a wedding, meeting or big event, like FLOCC.
The food, shopping and nearby attractions also make this place a perfect place for a relaxing, yet fun, getaway.
While in town, here are a few places we recommend checking out:
1. Miracle Mile - explore the town and go for a stroll on one of the prettiest streets in the region. Our favorite spot is Books & Books!
2. Little Havana - Arrive with an empty belly and enjoy a Little Havana Cuban Food Tour! Enjoy churros, empanadas, a Cuban, sugar cane water and so much more.
3. Wynwood - This fun, inclusive town is filled with art and hidden places to dine and party. It's also the home of the R House Wynwood, a popular spot for drag brunches.
4. Vizcaya Gardens - If you're looking for relaxation, this is a wonderful spot to visit while in town. It's only a 15 minute drive from Coral Gables and feels like a mini retreat from the busier parts of Miami.
