Most of magna searchers are actual rookies, alpha searchers are all the rookies and tamers, its actually quite consistente with at least 17 turn one plays
Mulligans in certain games are needed because sometimes you can literally not play cards or do anything whatsoever. With digimon though you’re always able to hard drop something, currently there’s no reason for mulligans aside from feels bad moments
I’ve also had the worst luck with armor rush. Start of bt8 I opened 5 games in 3 matches not having any rookies when I was running 14. I wasn’t a fan of mulligans but I think they did it well in this game and should just standardize it already.
This is why I don't agree with armor rush just playing a bunch of low end stuff and the rest of the deck just being options and tamers. I've seen armor rush brick way too often even with the amount of Rookies it has. Definitely feel like it should actually have some more high end stuff for some consistency instead of being stuck with champions and options in hand like that.
I don't see your logic... adding top end doesn't fix the bricking problem. You still need a rookie to start a stack. Armor just doesn't have a ton of draw power
@@littleornstein7287 My point is that instead of slamming an armor or passing every turn from a brick, they can at least slam an armor, digivolve into a lvl 5 then maybe a lvl 6. It would at least get them going instead of just waiting to lose real fast.
@@MagnaTimon once you've slammed down a Flamedramon it's pretty much over against Alphamon. You can see in this video he was able to go up into a Lv6 both games but it just didn't matter
@@sand-attack Yes, that can still happen and he made it worse for himself anyways because he swung at security when he's already so behind making him lose the magna x. My point is that you'll more than likely have a better follow up play than just passing a few times like he did in the next game. And more than likely you'll still have a chance because alphamon can have trouble as well and have to search for their own pieces if you do happen to hard drop a champion.
Man the fact that most alphas play 10 rookies and armor plays 14, yet armor bricked twice was painful.

Man, I was hurting from those wiffs.
@@lusigia it helps that Cool Boy is half the cost of Davis lol
Oof holy bricks batman
Absolutely ridiculous that mulligans aren't an official rule, it's fun for no one when one player gets an abysmal starting hand
Yeah, in my local store we just play our weekly tournaments with mulligans
Yeah, I really don't understand why there isn't a mulligan in this game. It's such a simple fix.
Our locals has mulligans and yeah, it fixes the game.
Get good

Feels so bad for Armor player man. We need mulligans
I have that same ALP Spy x Brigade playmat, I love it haha
Big F for the magnamon deck. Didn't even get the chance to display what it had to offer 😭
Cool Boy only costing 2 is such a ridiculous design decision. Draw power, memory gain, and more draw power all for 2 memory lol
right? ontop of that so many other cards in the deck allow memory gain and draw power, its disgusting

That playmat is amazing
Pretty lit you were able to get top 16 gameplay.
Dayuuum I thought it was just game 1 based on the length of the video
he shook his hand after the first game lol
Damn that was brutal ….
Sad I couldn't meet you there, the tournament basically made me forget you were there
Next time!
This is why I play 15 rookies now! lol
Nice to see black finally got tier 1 deck always tired seing samey old blue or yellow dominate the scene 😂

When it goes off, it explodes with like multiple checks on like turn 2 or 3, but still it doesn't happen as often as it should.

Same
Gotta love non-games.
