Very insightful. I begin my new job on the Neuroscience floor new week and your resources are very much appreciated. Thank you.
Please upload more on neuro nurse assessment.
Thanks!
These questions and how we form them and understand them is so important.
I once had a patient who was in love with Beyoncé, and me being a big fan, asked simply so do you like her new album ? She wasn't aware... and stated an album from yearssss prior....
Which was congruent with her responses of why her answers to those nuero questions were so off...
This confused me....
It came to light that she was being human trafficked, and wasn't even aware of the time she was in.
Happy New Year to you and God bless you and stay safe and healthy. Love 💘, so much 💓
Excellent presentation. Can you do a lumbar drain nursing care video? Please.
4 Patients is alot? Im on an stroke unit in Germany, we dont have CNAs or any assistants but have 10+ patients. Its okay, 2 years ago we have 14-16 patients, 4 patients is very good.
4 on a stroke unit is a safe amount!
You give really good information.
Can I ask if a neuro nurse can work in ICU unit later as well? Are the jobs pretty similar or totally different? I wonder if neuro nurses can work as an ICU nurse or ICU NP.
There's definitely overlap, but they see very different main issues with patients. The actual day to day (seeing patients, placing orders, charting) is very similar, but what is different is the disease/pathophys and their specific treatment needs. Neuro nurses and ICU nurses often float to each other's units when needed. You can only work as an NP if you have that specific education.
I’m a newbie hired at the neuro dept pls provide me with info I can review before my orientation thank you
