When I was 20 years old and had already become disillusioned by my new marriage, I was on my way to Crowley LA to listen to a preacher named Jessie Duplantis. On the way I made the statement “ It seems that I go 1 step forward and two steps backward.” Needless to say, but I’m gonna say it anyway, after a wonderful, uplifting message, you asked me to come forward. I looked around and you said, “yeah you!” So when I went Forrest’s, the first words out of your mouth were, “you said to the Lord, it feels like I go one step forward and two steps backward”, every word after that was a complete encouragement to my life. That was 44 years ago. I still follow your ministry ever since then, God bless you and your wife Kathy in your daily ministry!

Thank you Jesse for this message of asking God for things believing you will receive it in God's timing. I asked God for a brand new house & He gave it to me & my husband 30 odd years later & mortgage FREE. I give God ALL THE GLORY, Honor & Praise for it & every other prayer He has answered for me. Amen.

Zenny, I noticed how you capitalize our Lord whenever His name is mentioned. That right there shows me your true reverence in who our God is.
You asked, be careful & thoughtful in the asking. Because I believe He sees your heart, as I do; your soul cry for Him; only.
He gives what we ask, rarely in ways you may not be aware at the time of asking. Ask; believe He is going to grow you, it is not an easy road, that of a true follower of Jesus Christ. I am not financially earth rich. He meets ALL my need(s) in ways so beautiful. I am adorned in the most beautiful of riches however…oh that of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. You dear one I know will understand & walk in this. You asked. Yeshua reigns. Pray for Israel!!!!

My son took me to see you once in Iowa we had to drive 4hrs away. My daughter was little she is 15 now and my son 40.
I remember when Richard Jr was 13yrs old and I took him to clear lake, Iowa. I got him his 1st guitar at an antique shop. And all weekend we watched your funny videos. I brought them and rented a vhs at block buster. A fun memory I rented us a lake cabin. My Son always remembers you saying never go backwards always move up ⬆️
We talk about it ever so often. My 2001 1500 Dodge Ram is getting old. He wants me to get a car. I say oh no I just can’t go backwards. He wants me to get a HHR with that good gas mileage and uses that cheaper gasoline. I was looking for a used HHR and their was one with a truck bed Lol

Definitely one of my favorite messages. … I think we don’t ask a lot because we don’t realize how much God really loves us.. and need to be secure in having a relationship with God..
Sometimes you don't get it when you ask for it. God is not a genie, you are a lowly servant of God.

Does your request you made to God back up with his word, did you use scripters concerning your request. My spiritual mentor always ask if we prayed or had a thought. What does the Word say. Praying for your strength my sister in christ. Be encouraged
Whomever said, to believers, don’t mix Faith with Time, if you do time becomes your enemy.
I get it! God isn’t bound by time. Example, 14 yrs elasped from when God promised Abraham & Sarah -‘you will have a son’.
The Bible says ‘As your faith so be it to you’.
Get away from time and into trust.
