I felt the same thing too. I thought The Whisper Man was a stronger novel and it had more creepy vibes to it than The Shadows.

I mostly enjoy the “paranormal” side of things as well. Though I enjoy a crime-based book, I much prefer ghosts and things to murderers. 😍
