Watching today with the reds sitting on top of the premier league 22 points ahead of the nearest threat with 13 games left. It was an extraordinary choice to take Klopp to Anfield. He has become the 21st century Shankly .

As a Borussia Dortmund fan i always liked Liverpool. Liverpool is the perfekt fit for Klopp. as well as Klopp is the perfect fit forLiverpool. I am sure to watch as many games as possible now of Liverpool. I just hope Liverpool and the english press is patient. In order for him to get the team to play a certain style, it will take time. Its difficult to come in mid season. But trust me - he is a great coach, able to form a team, a certain entertaining attractive Style of Footbal as well as developing young players / talent. Exactly what Liverpool needs. Good Luck Klopp, and i hope to see u guys in Europaleague!

After almost 5 years at Liverpool, he has done all things he said on this very first interview. The best Liverpool manager since Shankly and Praisely era or at least since I could remember, not just only on the pitch but collectively the best in all aspect.

has probably got to already be my favourite manager in the EPL already, also i can understand what he is actually saying not mumbling like most of the managers do. seems humble aswell. The photographers were annoying every time the press spoke they took pictures was hard to hear the questions at times.

As a german let me say that Klopp here already Speaks, Talks and articulates like in his former Clubs and as if he is the Manager of Liverpool since years...First National championship since a quarter Century might be closer than ever. Germany crosses all his fingers!!!
This guy oozed class the moment he walked into the club. He wanted time to implement his own system, and the mentality of the LFC fans to change from doubters to believers. He's achieved all of that, and has started to reap the benefits of it with his squad on the pitch. He's won a CL after reaching two finals, got LFC consistently challenging for the league, expanded the brand, and overhauled our coaching and transfer systems. If he goes on to win a PL with Liverpool he'll cement his name as an immortal. God bless you Jurgen. YNWA
His ability of switching from being serious to joking is amazing! He's said nothing revolutionary, really, all the standard things "a great club, we need time, etc" but I fuckin believed every word he said. I'm just over the moon that he's here!

+Johnny B Calm down first you need to get the financial backing to rebuild. The current team is shocking and top named players would not really view liverpool as a top team to join in terms of financial or for europe. If you can get good players then he will do well
iskalachi You're right that champions league qualification is probably necessary to attract some of the best talent, but Klopp himself will attract some. Also money is not the issue for us at all - we spent £300million in the past 3 years, more than any other EPL team other than Man City (it's even more than Chelsea). Now we have someone who'll hopefully use that cash wisely!
You spent 300 mill because of the players you sold. Your net spend is barely above your income.
Liverpool have a solid squad, Sturridge, Benteke, Clyne, Coutinho, Henderson, Milner, Lallana (maybe Firmino) are all very good players in my opinion

always LIKED dortmund and always LIKED lfc. still i never was truly a fan of either both of these clubs, i just enjoyed the game. until that guy klopp showed up at dortmund.
he's a class act.
and he might be even more 'enjoyable' to bpl fans when he is settled, in terms of both language and league. of course in this presser he spoke directly from the heart, as this is his character, but in a few months he will be even more likeable - nonetheless points have to be gained for lfc- due to the fact that this guy lives, breathes and is football. it's not easy to articulate one's heart if your not able to. but he will. give hime some 3-4 weeks.
most former mainz and dortmund players would still walk through fire for him, because he's maybe the only manager in the world who truly understands himself more as a helping hand, a guiding player, a father figure, than an actual dompteur. klopp IS part of the team. he really doesn't need proven world class players to be with him. he is actually able to unify a talented squad (such as lfc squad)to be a fighting band of brothers. from that day on, i will watch bpl even more closely than before.
maybe i buy myself an lfc jersey. klopp is a true lad. if you love football, you have to love him.
