- On this week's episode of The Frontline with Jerome Starkey President Zelenskiy has reportedly told PM Rishi Sunak Russia lost 'at least a Brigade' trying to take Avdiivka in latest failed offensive.
Russia renewed a push to encircle the embattled town in mid-October, trying to overwhelm Ukrainian positions with constant barrages of artillery and waves of troops and fighting vehicles, according to local and military authorities in Ukraine.
"The invaders made several attempts to surround Avdiivka, but each time our soldiers stopped them and threw them back, causing painful losses. In these cases, the enemy lost at least a brigade," Zelenskiy told British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in a phone call, the president's office said in a statement.

Mr Starkey, I think I speak for many, many people when I say thank you for your coverage of the Ukraine conflict. The often times graphic, but true footage of the ravages of war will be forever engraved in my mind and those of the thousands tunig in, thanks to the Sun's relentless search to show the war's atrocities. What I take home from the tank battles and hallucinogenic fire fights and anomalies in Sky News' visuals is that it show us in eye-reach of our screens how war should never, ever be celebrated as any great human achievement.

It may be close to time for other countries that border Russia to send troops and more equipment to Ukraine. Poland, Finland, and the Baltics are likely next if Ukraine were to fall. Maybe they could help a bit more?
Greetings from Canada. Loitering kamakaze drones were hailed in the beginning of the conflict to be the gamechanger technology. From any media leaking out it's really difficult to even surmise whether these tank direct hits are remotely controlled drones or the independent loitering variety already locked on and awaiting the attack order that typically don't require a remote pilot to hit there target. Are self piloted loitering* munitions still being used to any success or are we seeing mostly remote controlled drones attacking tanks and other targets by pilots at the breakfast table as it were?
Great channel, in depth journalism is a breath of fresh air compared to hours of attacks with no contextual audio. Is there a media consensus on what niche weapon is proving the most effective munition for Ukraine thus far. Thank you kindly always a pleasure.
