No different than when retailers put up a sign for items at a certain sale price and when the cashier scan the item a different price comes up, they have to honour the signage price. In that case, they made the mistake of not removing the sale sign when the sale was over. The lottery has to pay and then sue the contractor. What about the person whose numbers were pulled, if they didn’t see the draw and went to the website instead, they wouldn’t have known they had a winning ticket and could have thrown it out, would that have been that person’s fault? It’s logical, that the numbers that were picked during live draw are valid, not whatever is posted on the website. Human error is common and there is always the possibility, that someone will post incorrect results on the web. Only what you see on live tv is what counts. Was there a disclaimer on the website at the time the wrong numbers were posted? It's my understanding that many states have disclaimers on their websites and phone lines that state if there's a discrepancy, the numbers drawn are the valid winning numbers. As much as I'd like for that gentleman to receive the money, he didn't actually win. What prompted his friend to tell him to take a picture of the website? Did they realize the numbers shown were inaccurate? Should the lottery pay out the money if the website is hacked? With that logic, the incorrect numbers showed on the screen. The man must get the entire amount. The Lotto need to be held accountable in every way for this! 3 days it was left on the website! That is not by mistake. This is manufactured!
NO EXCUSE for this kind of error!!! 🤬
ALL HE HAS TO DO IS FIND A JUDGE HE CAN PAY OFF.
There are TONS of DC Judges who will side with the man.
Only the numbers that were pulled count. Not some number on the website.
It doesn’t matter what they post on the website all that matter is what comes out those tubes.
What damage was done?
You want to see your number on the website and go for your 300 million to be told it was a mistake?
@@LillyR-p2p what damage did the mistake cause or cost him?
@onecoollady2196 Since you are slow let me break it down. You wake up and check your number on the lottery website and realize you have won 300 million , you are in disbelief you check multiple times to make sure, yes the lottery website numbers match my ticket . You start breathing heavy, you are rich beyond your wildest dreams , you tell a family member and friend even texting them the proof, your anticipation for all the things you can do with this money start going wild .
You get to the lottery office fill with joy hand the ticket over only to be told it was and error on the website.
And your question was What damage it caused ?
Am I missing something? His numbers weren’t drawn. If those numbers were not drawn during the lottery, how can he say he won? Just cause they posted it doesn’t mean those numbers were drawn?
It’s logical, that the numbers that were picked during live draw are valid, not whatever is posted on the website. Human error is common and there is always the possibility, that someone will post incorrect results on the web. Only what you see on live tv is what counts. I understand he got excited, but there’s no hope for him in the court. The sooner he gives up, the less energy he’s going to use
I don't believe he was told to toss the ticket. The wrong numbers were posted by human error, that happens. The drawing was completed and recorded. I can see this is frustrating but had he checked his ticket by scanning it he would have his answer. Just another freeloader wanting to scam the system.
I have a feeling, he will end up with a pretty generous settlement, to avoid further negative press.
The only thing he is going to get is a big bill from his Attorney.
Good please bless and protect him!! Allow him to be paid what he won or settle for a reasonable amount because we know they don't want to pay! I pray for his protection that they don't try to take him out!!!!
Pay that Man‼️💯💰
the numbers he had didn't match what was actually drawn so he never won anything, what happened was the wrong numbers were posted on a website and matched the ones on his ticket - thats an amazing coincidence but doesnt change the fact that he never won.
Yeah well that's on them. It's their mistake.
@AlldatJazz-rw9wy Fact especially if the number stayed on the website for 3 three days!!!😂😂
They accidentally posted the wrong numbers, so first redirect this employee because thats serious, when money on the table. And pay the man ❤ he gone win his share. ❤ I pray he do
The numbers drawn for January 7, 2023 were 35 36 44 45 and 67 with the PBall being 14. Where is the photo or screenshot of HIS 'winning' numbers from where HE saw them at?
Exactly.
He has the original ticket. That’s where HIS numbers are at.
Try 1:11
Its in this video, why do you need to ask?
@@dougaltolan3017 Like I said the winning numbers are what I posted above. Thanks for replying tho. p.s. He didn't win
@@jaywholoveseveryone1721 I don't think they get it. His numbers were not the numbers that was drawn. It begins and ends there. Just because they post the wrong numbers does not make him a winner. Some of these folks are just plain ignorant.
Pay that man SMH!!!
Create a story about how you will use the money to help people buy their own homes. Say it's to help disabled veterans. Oh wait - maybe your lawyer told you to say this. It can work!!!
Right. He will eliminate tent cities by giving the occupants mortgages.

Pay this man
If I was the judge I’d laugh him out of the court.
Never heard of this happening. Pay him.
I wants my reparations!!!!
The way things are going why not!!😅😅
Fight, fight, and fight some more! I wish you luck sir!!
The numbers were posted. That is a bad mistake and the Powerball needs to settle with the man. I hope he gets paid. Not looking good if there is precedent of an similar case. Both the contractor and the Powerball should come up with a solution that is acceptable to this nice man.
Posting numbers and drawing the numbers aren’t the same thing. Winning tickets are based on drawn numbers. You won’t find a rule that says anything about posted numbers being the authority
They did come up with a solution, you twit, they informed him he lost, end of story.
There is a disclaimer on every ticket sold. Unfortunately, he will not win.
Lottery done messed up. *Pay the man* Fire the contractor.
It's a TYPO FFS!!!!! 😂
I don't understand why he would be trying to create a home trust bank for people who don't qualify for loans to give them loans to purchase houses. Is is exactly what caused the housing bubble issue back in 2008/2009 and he wants to recreate that generating loans for people who can't pay on them. From a business sense, it makes none. Obviously to say that people who couldn't afford houses before now can live in one is nice but not sustainable for most who wouldn't qualify in the first place.
It’s the number pulled. And he’d be in a long line if everyone had a reason to sue the lottery!
nobody would take this silly case and ruin their reputation and have the state pissed at them.
Ok we shall see what happens! You UA-cam experts know so much!
The wrong numbers were posted for 3days! If they were posted for a short period of time but three days can def be proven in a court of law that some remedies are in store for this man who for 3days thought he was a millionaire.
you just said "definitely" and the court of law in the same sentence, LOL.@@dariusmcgee6861
They need to pay him, thats their fault not his
He has no case. His numbers were not the ones actually drawn. Lottery websites have disclaimers covering mistakes and errors on their site. Unfortunate he had to go thru emotions but this is totally legal to deny his ticket. They could be nice and give him 10k or something but that would set a precedent and if an error ever occurred involving a million or more people then they’re screwed by setting that first precedent.
well, I think the attorney's goal is to extract "something" from the lottery.
PAY THE MAN!
It's sad but he's not going to get a nickel. Same rules apply in Vegas slot machines that give you wrong information. They don't have to pay. There's already a precedent set
He's going to get a settlement he has a gd atty about 350k
Everyone who thinks they know EVERYTHING saying there's a disclaimer on the back of the ticket when the lawyer said at the end there was another case in Idaho that was awarded
Absolutely go to court if the lottery doesn't pay something substantial
Pay that man his money
Reward this dapper gentleman for his hat alone💯
For the people bragging about disclaimers and such have no clue about how the law works. Disclaimers are not the law or a contract. Bet you people didnt know that those theft disclaimers in parking ramps are not valid. The parking ramp owner is responsible for damages to your vehicle.
Its not a perfect world. The number's on the ticket is what matters. Ive seen wrong numbers posted in the newspaper. Thats why they have ticket checkers in the stores.
Casinos do that crap sometimes on slot machines "Oh it was a machine error" How they get away with it is beyond me.
I think they get away with it because the people who are entertained by losing money in slot machines are a select group of extremely stupid people.
Crabs in a basket. The clerk told him to throw his ticket in the trash. What a horrible human being with no compassion for anyone else. pitiful excuse for a human being
What BS!!! Hope he and his lawyers get NOTHING. It was a mistake on a website, nothing more. That's like suing your bank when they accidentally credit your account and then take it back.
If I win $340 million I ain’t sleeping until the direct deposit hit. It’s a power nap for about 20 minutes and I’m back at it!
Thats how you know his lying ass didn't actually have the numbers like he said. Photoshop head ahh
He’ll be lucky if he gets a t shirt for his trouble.
They should pay
