These were a few hundred dollars literally about a decade ago, now all these deranged Gen-Z and Millennials suppliers *want in the many thousands of dollars!* I have a formal background in electrical/electronics engineering, many years in metal and plastic crafting, carpentry and beyond right down to plumbing. I could build something like these for a few hundred dollars! *Greed has overtaken basic human decency.....*
I guess they're matching the sales price of the very popular e-unicycles, scooters, skateboards, etc. This surfboard niche is still so small the competition allows them. Yes, please put it together with a mechanical engineer and shake up the market for us, thanks.
@@chrisfelton9605 I agree and would like to. I'm educated in the science of electrical/electronics engineering and have many years working in trade skills like carpentry, metal crafting, auto mechanics and beyond. My point was these started out 20 years ago for well under $1000! Millennials and Gen-Z's spending habits have resulted in horrible inflation, it's not just effects sof the economy due to market and employment shifts. Over 20 years ago, I invented a system to make every car and motorcycle amphibious. I've also invented a new type of induction motor with multiple functions producing effects, not just serving as a motor, that can literally change the world. *So, back to your original point. I've invented a new type of induction motor with >95% efficiency that can also be used to invent an entire new branch of technology meaning machines can be built from it that have never existed beyond on paper.* As much as I'd like to launch these things industrially, it's far easier said than done! It's also expensive to build a prototype and when the product is still obscure such as a motorized surfboard, the only way it's going to succeed beyond the current market's reach is to be tremendously cheaper. *It's definitely possible to build these for a minor fraction of those selling costs.*
For one hour of pleasure lmao 4 grand tops
Hell no

Sounds like a good market to get into. I was just looking at prices and thought, there's no way these cost that much.

So, make a business to compete.
