I had to say goodbye to one of my doggos Diana 1 year and 9 months ago, you simply learn to live with that loss. I lost her on August 25th and every month on the 25th I just feel so upset even though I miss her all the time...there's something about this number now...

And so sorry about Pebbles, hearing you talk about her nearly made me cry.. we have one shih tzu and one shih tzu/Lhasa mix and they are our first dogs and am always dreading the day something happens to them. Your apartment looks so lovely. Am a lawyer who took a break and did some day trading so really like you study for trading etc. I just realised when I saw you worried about the table that in India, we would have carpenters who will come in a couple of hours and fix it for 2.5 dollars max, don’t know if you have someone like that there.

How does one get bloated by a salad?
Hi! Registered Dietitian here (with a Master’s in nutrition). 😊 Most plant-based or fibrous foods-like salad greens, beans, whole grains, etc.-help “feed” the good bacteria in our lower gastrointestinal tract through fermentation. As a result, little gas bubbles form and may cause bloating. Not everyone is affected in the same way and not every food has the same effect on an individual. Hope that helps! 🌱
