You are a great teacher. The way you explained made it so much easier. It helped me understand Interval Notation & how to graph it on a number line. Thank you a lot!
how do you know if a number is included or excluded? i kind of get the gist of it but i want to understand why the the numbers are included or excluded
@@jasonstarrising I made this for my junior and senior students who were still not understanding how to define domain and range of a graph because they couldn't understand intervals. Some teachers do not teach interval notation at all.
If the arrow in the inequality points left, shade left on the number line. If the arrow points right, shade right. I made this video so students could better understand how to write intervals to express domain and range. Since domain are all x's, and the x-axis goes left and right, go left if < and right if >. Since range are all y's, and the y-axis goes up and down, remember that up is positive and down is negative on the y-axis. So if the inequality symbol is pointing left < (think left...low...or below), shade down, below the number. If the inequality symbol is pointing right > (think right...raise...as in raise up) and shade up, above the number.
THIS IS SO HELPFUL!!! THANK YOU FOR CLEARLY EXPLAINING THIS!!! THIS IS A LIFE SAVER!!!
Explained soo well thank you

if these greater () have a line under, it means it can be equal making it included, looking like this ≤ !!

I might actually pass my Algebra 2 test thanks to you. :)

i wish u were my math teacher
You saved me ....
Thanks💘😍
Thank you!
what about {x|7
It's always easiest to understand if the variable is on the left side. So rewrite as x>7
None of my problems look like this but thank you anyway
thanks🙏
nice pen
They are my favorite. I get them at the Dollar Tree 2 in a pack. Brand is INC or something like that.
