- The Supreme Court has police investigation into the criminal charges filed against Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev’s Isha Foundation. CJI Chandrachud while transferring the case from HC to the SC, said that the case was a ‘very serious and urgent’ matter as it involved issues of religious freedom. The SC also interacted with the 2 women whose father had in his petition claimed that his daughters were ‘brainwashed’ into staying at the ashram. Both the women said that they were staying at the ashram out of their free will. Petition S Kamaraj has been asked to appear before court in the next hearing.

What plight you are taking about? Do you want to see the real plight? Go to Kerala. Here we are talking about two middle aged women taking their life in spiritual path. They are not harming themselves or harming others. They are old enough to think and make a decision about their future. Aren’t we free to chose what we want to do in life once someone is an adult. What a pathetic system. Apparently judges can’t think for themselves. Sounds like they might have done things to be afraid of politicians. How much are they receiving under the table.
As everyone may be aware, there's a hierarchy in the higher Judiciary, as well, at different levels ! It's not necessarily the final order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court ! Since the case is subjudice, let the law take its course !
