To anyone wanting to grow blueberries from seeds, they require a period of "cold stratification" aka you have to simulate them going through winter in order for them to germinate. Best method I know is to mix seed into wet perlite and put them into a sealed container in a fridge that is at max 40f for at least 2 months. After this they will be able to germinate though they still may take a while. Blueberries need acidic soil between 4 and 6 pH to thrive, so a sphagnum peat based soil (without pH stabilizer added) is best. Keep their soil constantly moist and check the soil pH monthly because some tap water is basic and can raise it slowly over time, and you can fix it using granular sulfer sprinkled over the surface which leeches into the water and keeps pu down. Hope this helps someone.
@@gangajal9292 on my property there are tons of wild blueberries growing underneath strands of pine. I love watching all the flowers show up this time of year
Exactly ik a little more about plants cause I've dealt with them directly when flowering but I'm still new as hell and I wonder HOW CAN THEY STOP OR THROW THEM AWAY?? I feel strange throwing the yellowing leaves on my philodendron, like they should be in compost or something. I used to not care but WATCHING every leaf grow makes it hard and I genuinly didn't think I'd feel that way lol Also it will shred peoples hopes when they try to grow a vegetable in a ehile container till if flower and forgetting about pollination ( I just recently dtarted considering it too lol) and then their plant does cause there is no room
Don’t forget that blueberry shrubs can only grow and develop in a soil with a special PH. Go to your local garden center to get appropriate soil beforehand 😊.
Just smoosh a blueberry put soil on them plastic bottle for humidity, spray it everyday with water and soon you will see results. Plant in a bigger pot repeat the process. Boom. Don't gotta take TWO YEARS
Patience is a key for success, u proved it. 😇
Thanks so much my friend 😊 feel free to share it if you like!
no that video is way to fast, we dont even have time to wtach the images.

This!!👌🏼
It just needs acidic soil, if you live anywhere with a lot of rainfall your soil will be acid. they grow wild in the eastern seaboard after all.
The instructions that came with my blueberry purchase said use 50/50 sphagnum peat and construction sand. So nothing that special or expensive.
@@willstafford4159 indeed! But if I may, not every plant enjoys that much sand in their soil…😊ENJOY YOUR BLUE HARVESTS👍😊👍!
I’ve grown blueberries in my garden in the backyard. No special soil required

How do you get rid of the mold when it starts growing? Or mites or flies?
That's moss, not mold. The soil you grow blue berries in will have moss in it.
Hi.. Do we have to change the water frequently?
I just filled it up when it was about to dry out :-)
Blueberries 🫐
Which soil is used??
I used soil with a lower pH level!
Thnx for informing
Nice

Blueberries must be grown in acid (or ericaceous) soil or ericaceous potting compost, with a pH of 4.5-5.5
