I’m glad court went good. I remember going to our first court and I was a nervous wreck. 😰. But in the end it was good and learned so much. God is so awesome!🤗
I work for a foster care and adoption organization on the east coast. It is common to wait awhile for court in my experience. I'm unsure if it's the same everywhere but unless there's certain situations, the children have to be in care for a certain number of months before the court explores adoption.
Thanks for watching ☺️ it’s the same here as well. Foster children have to be in our home 6 months before continuing down the adoption route. That’s what I’ve been told at least!
Such a lovely video! Would you mind sharing your experience of homestudy and dogs? We have a rescued pit/lab mix and are worried that because she has a pit in her it may be an issue :(
Thanks so much for watching! We also have a pit mix! He was the small one running along the wall in the back wall haha. Our specific agency did not mind that he has pit, they just asked if they showed any aggression towards people/children and that’s about it. During the home study they also asked to meet the dogs and they were able to see that they were sweet dogs! I totally felt the same way during the home study though, but thankfully it wasn’t a big deal for us!! Good luck on your journey ❤️

Amen! It’s all in His timing too! I’m so glad my first court day is out of the way, now I’ll be a little more confident next time 👍🏽
