New Learning Video for Toddlers - Welcoming a New Baby Sibling! This video aims to help eliminate sibling rivalry or jealousy and help toddlers understand baby development. Helping toddlers understand that babies can’t walk or do things for themselves and need help, so parents or caregivers my carry or hold babies a lot, but it’s not because the love has shifted or changed.
Help toddlers learn that baby need to learn to talk, but before they do they may communicate through cries, and that babies need to sleep a lot to grow, with some fun activities for your toddler to do as independent play activities or quiet time activities as baby rests, and some fun activities for toddler and baby to play together to bond
My goal for this video is to be a helpful resource for the transition for the toddlers to welcome their baby sibling:
✨to explain that parents’ love only grows,
✨to eliminate any sibling jealousy
✨to show our little ones, that babies are small and fragile, and they need a lot of help so they need to be carried, therefore parents may hold them more
✨and babies need to be taken care of, so they can get their sleep & rest and once they’re ready, and big and strong they’ll be ready to play and be the best friend for the toddler.
The video also includes some
✨sensory activities to help your baby grow and develop plus
✨making tummy time fun activities,
✨independent play or quiet time activities for when the baby is sleeping, and
✨fun activities for the baby and toddler to play together!
✨for baby activities always make sure to supervise, and remove any small items like pom poms so there are no choking hazards or safely secure them or remove them so they’re out of babies reach for safety.
