According to my understanding, Nordpass does not support TOTP for private accounts (only business accounts). For me, that's a deal breaker. I'm sticking with Bitwarden.
I was in the middle of changing password managers (thanks to LastPass) so I did and UNDER-THE-HOOD IN DETAIL RESEARCH on password managers and the one that stood out was 1password (it’s been around longer also…) no password manager is bullet proof but based on the research I did 1Password offered more security features (BUILT IN UNDER-THE-HOOD) than NordPass… the only thing NordPass has is Xchaha20 encryption.
Also, I used NordPass for a couple of years and while the app has a good look, it’s not really performant. I tested out 1Password for one day and I just knew that I was being scammed by NordPass. Good tech, but everything takes too long.
I used them both. 1Password is better in almost every way. The biggest thing in favor of Nordpass is that you can use it for free. Nordpass still has annoying things about it: 1. You need to log into both Nord and Nordpass, so that's 2 passwords to remember and enter. 2. Nordpass's browser extension requires you to first install and log into the desktop application, or it doesn't function. 3. Nordpass currently has no support for TOTP generation. That's not a deal-breaker, but it's still a convenient feature. 4. Nordpass has no support for tags, and no support for nested folders (there are some workarounds, though). I still use Nordpass, mostly for secure notes, and I do not subscribe to their service. I just use their free plan. I am down to a month left on my 50% off first year subscription to 1Password, and I won't be renewing (a regular-priced subscription is a bit pricey). I have opted for Bitwarden's paid subscription instead. It's not as elegant and good-looking as 1Password or Nordpass, but it's plenty functional, and easy to use. It's really tough to beat for the price. Incidentally, if you are looking for a quality password manager, for free, with a very good browser extension, consider Zoho Vault. It does things 1Password and Bitwarden don't, or don't do as well. It has its quirks, but if you can deal with them, it's worth taking a good hard look at what it offers. Like Nordpass, Zoho Vault requires you to log into both Zoho and Zoho Vault, so there's two logins to deal with. Copy/paste is not as clean and elegant as 1Password or Bitwarden, but it's manageable. You can set up automatic daily, weekly, or monthly vault backups, which will be sent to you via email, as an encrypted and zipped html attachment, which can be opened from any web browser, assuming you haven't forgotten the password. For even more controls and goodies, you can pay for a subscription, and add as many people to your organization as you like. Zoho has been around for quite a while now, and Zoho Vault has become really good over the last couple of years. Food for thought.
Thanks for this very interesting and informative review. I have one question: I can't find any documentation that shows if it is possible to save passwords without having an URL (e.g. SIM pin, app credentials,....). Hope you can answer my question. Thanks in advance!
Something worth mentioning that was not being talked about in the video is custom fields - NordPass only allows desktop and Android to view custom fields while iOS app cannot. It's very frustrating and I have flagged this with the support team many times. They just say it's not really their priority at the moment 😩 So say if you add a custom field for a password, like "Registered email address", you won't be able to view that unless you login to your desktop or android app.
Nordpass if missing so many basic features that all password managers have, these are not review for a better password manager, are review for the company that pay most the youtubers. This is not an honest review.
Nordpass is totally broken! Installed extension in Firefox in Windows and NOTHING prompts or autofills. Other password managers work fine so I am not impressed so far I have NordVPN but Nordpass is totally broken.

Hi, how can a password manager that do not support the otp (really basic but crucial function for a password manager) can be the winner... ?
Thanks for this very interesting and informative review. I have one question: I can't find any documentation that shows if it is possible to save passwords without having an URL (e.g. SIM pin, app credentials,....). Hope you can answer my question. Thanks in advance!
Thank you! Does the free version give you all the same security as the premium nordpass verison?
Good reviews!
Not seeing much of business plans comparisons, think it has potential for you and your viewers
Great info, thanks, just what I needed.

Nordpass is better
I think Kaspersky password manager is way better and is more affordable.
